SMALLRIG Thumb Grip with Hot Shoe Cover for FUJIFILM X100VI / X100V (Silver) - 4566

Perfect fit on X100VI. Closest colour match to the camera's silver of any aftermarket thumb grip I've looked at in the 18 months or so I've had the camera. Doesn't obscure rear focus button and may even stop my thumb straying too far by mistake as it provides a tactile point of reference. The stylized 'FujiFilm 1934 soundwave pattern' in black on top is a nice touch and the SmallRig branding not too obvious as it's white on silver. As I already have a silver shutter release button the red one in the box is a handy-to-have spare. Paper and card, the packaging is both recycled and recyclable. Well done, SmallRig. I have no affiliation with SmallRig or Amazon and bought this with my own money. A very well thought-out item.

Fits like a glove a good match for the camera

I bought this thumb grip for my Fujifilm X100VI. It fits the camera well, but for me the curved section sits too high. It wasn’t in the right place for my natural grip, so I won’t be using it. However, I’m sure we all hold our cameras in our own unique way, so it may be fine for other people. I’ve only deducted one star as the product itself is good quality and fits as shown in the pictures. The red shutter release extension is fine, and makes the button easier to locate by touch.

This works well for me. The thumb rest pad is in exactly the right position. Holding the camera feels more secure, yet relaxed. I don't find it significantly hinders access to the Drive/Delete, AEL/AFL buttons, or the rear thumbwheel. I wondered whether the white Smallrig logo might bug me visually - it doesn't seem to be as visually intrusive as product shots make, so that's OK. The shutter release button was a mini-bonus. I now press the shutter button using the part of the index finger just beyond the last joint, rather than the finger tip. It's just as controlled, but also more relaxed and a better finger position overall. Why didn't I get one of these before?

Simply great! 100% boost to ergonomics! High quality piece and the fitment is near perfect! One slight downside is that it is tincy wincy bit in the way of drive/delete, AEL/AFL buttons and the front command dial. So if you have larger fingers, it might be a little difficult to use those. Still find it very comfy and useable!

This is usual Smallrig good quality. The thumb grip fits well and adds much more security to holding the camera particularly if you want to use it one handed. I chose the black one which colour matches the black 100V camera well. The grip is well designed and I don't find it interfering with the use of the camera controls. A small item but I wouldn't be without it.

Love it! Easy to attach obviously, strong material and design allows access to the shutter speed dial which in others isn’t always as good. Price is good and love the face you get the button with it as well! The size of the grip is great 👍🏼 Makes holding the camera much easier to hold and more secure.

If you want a thumb grip then this will do the job. I can’t get used to using a thumb grip personally but I’ve left it on because it looks very nice!

Queda perfectamente integrado en la zapata de la cámara. Estéticamente es una maravilla y mejora mucho la ergonomía. El disparador rojo le da un aspecto increíble. Estoy contentísimo con la compra.
