Hits very well good quality
Ive been playing a long time, but I took a few years off. During my time off, my friends all switched to graphite shafts with names like Cuetec, Predator, and Jacoby. While I liked the smooth feel and hit of qraphite, I couldn't justify the the prices. When I saw these for $170 I took a chance. Glad I did, the quality and feel of these is excellent. I even bought a second one (which looks and hits exactly like the first). Although they don't look as Perfect as the Predators and Cuetecs, they are as good as the others that I've seen, smooth with good feel andexcellent hit. The included tip has been playing great. I'd say it's a medium hard, which of course can easily be changed- Which is another plus- some graphite shafts have such a very small ferrule that makes them difficult to change tips. These shafts have a little more ferrule. I am now shooting with these instead of my 314's.

High level review of rhino shaft
It’s fine shaft no issues with it. It’s comfortable does not ring in my hand. The shaft fit perfectly on the players wooden butt I chose. I do wish however I could get a response from the manufacturer detailing. What tip was used what I have feels like a medium, not a bad tip, but I’d like to know what the specs are involving to tip.

very solid cues
SHORTER VERSION: I've been playing pool for over 30 years, and every now and then I can play well. I ultimately wound up buying five of these shafts for various pool cues, and now I play with them exclusively. That should tell you everything you need to know.LONGER VERSION: These shafts play quite well, with a solid hit (but not jarring), minimal deflection, and more predictable english. They are of good quality for the price and are very low maintenance. I have a much more expensive carbon fiber shaft, but the ferrule on it is less durable and the english far less predictable. These shafts transfer the "feel" of the hit back to you better than many carbon fiber shafts, which provides better feedback on what went wrong or right with your stroke. Wood shafts are still best for that though. The seller's pictures are accurate so there's no need to add my own photos here. The tips that these shafts come with are average, but once they have been gone over with a tip pick they hold chalk well without constant maintenance. They provide decent english, but if you need extreme english (for example, you're performing trick shots) you'll want to replace them. As mentioned, the tip contributes to more predictable english so I think it's a decent compromise. For most of my cues I haven't bothered replacing them, but if I ever need to I'll probably replace them with my usual brand. If you've never used a carbon fiber shaft, there will be an adjustment period but stick with it. These shafts are well worth the price.

Amazing quality for the price. Perfect fit on my Joss cue.
The shaft is a 5/16-14 thread which is the standard for Joss, and the diameter at the ferrule is a perfect match. It has a pro taper and is true low-deflection. The only complaint I have is this shaft/thread option is available only with a 10.5mm tip; it would be nice if the company offered a wider tip. The leather tip is stacked and appears to be pigskin, and it's medium hard. This is fine because it holds its shape well and does not mushroom. If you prefer a softer tip, it's easy enough to replace...but then soft tips wear faster and replacements need to be more frequent. If you don't want to carry two full cues in your bag, get this shaft and use it to break with. You can then swap shafts to a softer tip for your play cue. For the price, this is a no-brainer.

I love this pool cue shaft
I ordered this shaft to go with my Players pool cue. I wanted to try carbon fiber. I loved it from day one. Perfect fit to my Players cue. No warping, natural sound, and easy sighting. Others criticized the tip. It is soft, but I prefer that to a hard tip. I am still using the same tip after 6 months of regular play. For the price, I think this pool shaft is a bargain. I am considering ordering another from CUEDESG. This time, I will buy the entire cue stick and see if that compares favorably. I have recommended this shaft to friends. But, I did not have to after they tried it for themselves.

CUEDESG !!
For the price point this carbon fiber shaft was a pleasant surprise. I chose 3/8 8 radial shaft with the 12.5 tip. There are a few well known brands out there that charge 3 times as much for their CB shafts.Tip held the chalk well and kept its shape, feels like a medium tip.I’ve tried J Flowers shaft which is actually the cue I bought the CUEDESG shaft for and I’ve tried Rhino CB shaft.CUEDESG is right up there with them. Nice solid hit, and what is really important for me is the white ferrule that this shaft comes with. It’s just not a white sighting plate. For the money I feel this was an excellent buy. Very impressed very happy with my purchase.Would not hesitate to buy another one.

Right size doesn't mean uniform size for replacement.
Item arrived a day ahead of time. There was no padding and shaft Bounced freely in the oversized box. Tip was a little dented from being bounced around. Was a 11.8 3/8-8 to replace my 10.5 3/8-8 shaft bought of the same brand and same seller. The plastic joint protectors were interchangeable and fit perfectly. But the new 11.8 was so tight it screeched while mounting it to the butt. It did fit but is like a day at the gym while attaching and removing even two days of play later.
