They have different textures on each of the shapes and they are easy to hold. Silicone is easy to clean and these seem very sturdy that they should hold up quite well, of course that does depend on how aggressive of a chewer you have.I'm not thrilled with the Y shape one as each stick on the shape is hollow. This makes cleaning the inside very difficult. The leg and one of the top sticks seem to be connected, allowing a tiny amount of air to pass through and the other top stick seem sealed in the center. These holes are not that large so cleaning down inside the holes in the Y will not be adequate, IMHO. They Y shape is good for fidgeting so if the individual is not also a chewer it would be a good option.Otherwise, these are perfect for the variety of individuals who can benefit from them including babies and a spectrum of special needs. Overall, these are a great choice.
