I wasn’t expecting too much at this price point, but I’ve been genuinely impressed. The juicer arrived well packaged and felt sturdier than I’d imagined. Assembly was straightforward, and it’s surprisingly quiet when running, much quieter than my old one. So far, I’ve tried it with apples, carrots, and even some leafy greens, and it’s handled everything well. The juice comes out smooth, with very little pulp.

So far I’ve used this blender for smoothies and milkshakes (no ice/frozen solids so can’t comment on that). It’s easy to operate and easy to clean. The parts separate easily. I find it takes a little longer to blend things than I expected (had to pour mixtures back in again for finer results), and mine has a motor smell that I thought might just be from first use but it’s lingered. Overall seems sturdy and does the job. Glad I waited for a sale.

I bought the plastic jug. I use it once a day in the morning for smoothies for myself and my daughter. I like it for what I use it for, not sure how well it would work other than smoothies. I’m not sure it could handle ice on a daily basis, in fact I’d say not. It does shudder and bump across my work surface at times, I’ve had it a couple of months now, crossed fingers it will carry on working with no problems.
