Really useful although I didn't use it for a knife.

Very good quality product. Would be 5 stars if the padding was sewn in. All the same, was looking for something to case my Cold Steel Espada Xl and it fits like a glove. Perfect for sheathing large folders.

Sadly the one I received had very rough cut inserts and poor stitching on the molle straps. Even with the padding I'd be careful with a knife without a sheath. There seems to be a variety of these, some of the pictures are different from the one I received.

It might possibly hold a small knife, but it's too flat to hold anything else and I struggled to zip it closed even when it only had my smallest knife inside. But it does have very useful mounting options and molle, so could be used to attach things on the outside. Might be more useful for others, I just can't see what I could possibly use it for when the knife I wanted to put into it does not fit.
