My painter, Squirt, gobbles this up so fast that it must taste great! So much better quality than comparable foods. I love this brand and use them for my fish and turtle foods. Size is perfect for my 1 yr old turtle, they don’t break apart and float like they are supposed to. You get a lot with the large container and well worth the money. There is a smell when you open the container but it isn’t bad, and doesn’t last after you close the container.

The food is good and my turtle really likes it. It seems healthy and he eats it right away. The only thing I don’t like is the smell—it’s a bit weird and strong. Other than that, it does the job and keeps my turtle happy.

Banjo digs it & besides it being safely derived, that’s all that matters.

My turtles are juvenile, was transitioning food from baby pellets to juvenile, not ready for the adult size. I loved everything on their site, keeps water clear, deodorizing. Unfortunately, I had the opposite effect. Within 2 days of starting this food, my water was the murkiest it's ever been, the tank the smelliest. I've still got a ton of this because I've gone back to the baby pellets (after cleaning the tank) to try to minimize the grossness, with only a tiny bit of these. So far it's worked out. The turtles love the food same as the baby food

Good stuff

It’s a good sized container and my turtle seems to like the food but they are a little small so it can be messy if you accidentally put too much in but it makes it really good for small turtles

Our turtle LOVES this food. We started him on the hatchling formula and he's thriving. Recently switched him to the juvenile and he's still enjoying feeding time. He'll swim right into my son's feeding bowl and eagerly wait for his portion.
