I bought this as a gift for my grandson for his birthday. He was delighted, he loves lego, as does all the family. They all get stuck in, either making the models in this kit but also creating his own models. Being autistic, he can have periods of being overwhelmed in certain situations and he will go off with his lego and build something, this helps him to self regulate, and regain control. The quality and ranges of colours and components of the lego these days is far more superior that the lego we had as children, (I'm 60 now) and I still enjoy building it when we visit the grandchildren. Lego sets on the surface may seem a bit pricey but when you have a few sets the possibilities are endless and so are good value for money. The smaller boxes that have specific models in also come with instructions as to how to build and construct the models but can be used in with the boxes of the standard lego. Lego is great for all ages, and like I said you can build just about anything with a collection of lego. You can also buy books with lego ideas too.
