Moment 10x Macro Lens – T-Series Mobile Lens for iPhone, Pixel & Galaxy – Capture Extreme Close-Ups [T-Series]

I use this lens often to photograph very small insects and plants. Anyone who uses this lens will notice the overwhelming flaw the first time they use it. You have to have the lens about 3/4”- 7/8” from the subject which means you have to work very hard to not completely shadow the subject from the large diameter of the black plastic around the lens. And the depth of fucus is about 2 mm!! So say you photograph a ladybug, you gotta decide if you want its body or face to be in focus but you can’t have them both in focus except for the portion of the body very close to its head! Super frustrating but very sharp images are possible with some effort. They give you a diffuser cone you could use if you are photographing something tiny and motionless on a completely flat surface which I may have actually used once or twice in the hundreds of times I have used this lens. I ordered the 75mm closeup lens over 2 months ago and am anxious to receive it but I don’t know for sure if it’s coming? This is not for an impatient person as it takes alot of trial and error to move things around to get light on the subject as holding that black lens so close to the subject makes a Very dark shadow. Yes I have painted the plastic face of the lens housing bright white which helps a little. 🥵

I love the lens, it works perfectly. Little pricey, but for macro shots it’s amazing. Photos below of dollar.
