Gets the job done
After getting my eyebrows laminated, my esthetician recommended getting Castor oil to put on after I showered and washed my face. The one side of my left eyebrow has a hard time growing in due to a scar I have. Ive been using this oil for a few weeks now and I can say I have noticed some growth. Nothing drastic but I think if I keep using it regularly then it will grow in nicely. I would have given 5 stars but the only thing is, i noticed it's a little thicker than the small amount of oil she gave me until I bought my own. After a few hours it does feel like it starts drying, but getting a little stiff. Not sticky but I have to use soap and water to really get it out. The oil comes with a couple spoolies and a little container to put it in, which I love. I do wish the opening of the container was smaller though because it's annoying to have to get all the excess oil off the spooked before applying it to my eyebrows. Overall the quality is great for the price and it will last me for a while. They give you a good amount. I would purchase again.

This Is Heaven In A Bottle
I just got this yesterday. I am so happy and so in love. I put it into my hair last night; I smothered it good. Nearly from root to tip, all over my head, massaging in the scalp as best as I can. I left it in in a bun on top of my head for about 12 hours. This morning I pulled out some baby shampoo (just from Walmart) and washed it out. It came out with a normal amount of shampoo and it was absolutely effortless!!! My hair today looks like model hair. It's the first time I've worn it down in months and all night I have been taking pictures of it and showing my friends because they know I am focusing on my healthy hair. I am so excited to use this from now on two times a week, for a 12 hour period overnight before I shampoo. I wash my hair about every 3-4 days. I feel I've noticed an almost instant thickness and growth in my eyebrows since applying too. I'm also enjoying it for an oil all over my face and for washing my face off at night. I am also taking biotin, I am about 26 or so days in. My hair is growing so fast, so healthy and long and it feels so much thicker already. Between this and biotin I feel my hair will literally look like Kate Middleton's in a very short time. I am so so so happy with my results. I'm so glad that I got this. My hair has turned around dramatically in such a short period of time and I am incredibly appreciative of these two things. My biotin is from Walmart because that's what was recommended to me; it's like $5 for a bottle and it's the 10,000 mcg with keratin. Just drink lots of water and your skin will be fine. I also have another stronger biotin supplement that's liquid that I purchased from Amazon, which I'm going to use once this bottle is out. My hair has gotten so much life back in just a month and I think baby shampoo might be my new go-to, thing, too. If you are looking to add thickness, length and shine to your hair, I think there are many wonderful ways that will work quickly for you. I can tell you that for me, biotin and this oil are two things that I am seeing such great results with and I am so excited to see how happy and incredible my hair looks now in six months!!!!!!! You can have really, really good hair for like, VERY little money. The things I've described here are about $2 (for the shampoo), $15 for this (and there are cheaper ones out there, too!), and $5 for the biotin pills. I highly recommend this. Everyone deserves to love their bodies, feel and look their best, and be confident in their own hair. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I know what it's like to wish your hair looked good and literally that was me a month ago!!!!! So I had to sit down and write this review before going into the shower, for every version of me who wasn't sure what to do, all I can tell you, is try this and believe it will work wonderfully for you. You have nothing to lose!!!!!

Works great as a carrier oil for homemade serum
This works great for a homemade lash serum. I make these in very small batches (about a Tablespoon at a time): in a small jar or bottle (save your empty pill bottle if you have one), This is more art than science, but I use about a TBSP castor oil, a few drops rosemary essential oil, several drops DMSO (optional), and a few drops bimatoprost (the generic form of the active ingredient in Latisse) (also optional). (You can order bimatoprost online. I use all day chemist .com) If you use DMSO, BE SURE TO APPLY ONLY TO CLEAN EYES. DMSO carries these prostaglandin ingredients, and everything else, deeply into your skin, and you don’t want it to carry toxins in as well. That would include cosmetic or cleansing chemicals, your own sweat, lash mite body pieces or poop, or environmental dust and dirt. Once you figure out what to use for your own serum, DON’T fill the mascara wand jar full of your formula. DON’T!! Castor oil will thin when it warms to your body temperature and spread all over your face. Instead, this is why we mixed it in a separate jar: Just pour enough from the jar into the mascara wand jar (the one that came in your kit) that the top of the wand can touch the serum when the jar is upright. That alone should last you weeks before you need to refill from your first jar. Shake your serum every time you’re about to use it (because oil and water don’t mix; the bimatoprost is mostly water—if you have no emulsifying ingredients in there, they will naturally separate). Then let everything run back to the bottom of the jar and scrape your wand along the side of the jar. You’ll still get more than you need, really, but it will help conserve product and reduce what spreads all over your face (but if you use just castor oil, the rest of the skin around your eyes might appreciate the treatment too). Also consider to swipe the base of your lashes/eyelid (because your eyes are clean, right?) with the mascara wand, to stimulate circulation. It takes months to see a difference, but it does make a difference, and this is the most economical lash serum I can imagine, because the ingredients in it will last a couple years. The castor oil can be used for many other things, so it doesn’t have to go rancid before you use it all (storing it in the fridge is an option to preserve it if you don’t use it much otherwise). I use it a couple times a day when I’m not wearing makeup.

Smells like sesame oil?
Can anyone tell me why my castor oil smells like sesame oil? Making me doubt its purity with this sting scent.
