Not GRITTY!!! This product is very flavorful, it does have a mild vitamin scent but is delicious. I drink 1 in the morning after my run and 1 late afternoon before my dinner. Iit has actually helped me drink more water. If you haven't tried it yet buy the pack with different flavors!! You will not regret it!!

Sports Research Electrolytes Review I’ve been using Sports Research Electrolytes for a few weeks now, and here’s my detailed review: 1. Ingredients and Formula Sports Research Electrolytes are formulated with a blend of essential electrolytes, including sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. These ingredients help replenish lost electrolytes and support optimal hydration, especially during intense workoutsAd1. The addition of over 65 trace minerals and seven essential vitamins further enhances the nutritional profile2. 2. Flavor and Taste The variety pack offers flavors like Raspberry Lemonade, Cherry Pomegranate, Lemon Lime, and Passion Fruit. Each flavor is refreshing and not overly sweet, making it enjoyable to drink throughout the day2. The taste is a significant plus, as it encourages consistent hydration. 3. Mixability The powder mixes easily with water, leaving no clumps or residue. This makes it convenient to prepare, whether you’re at home or on the go3. The convenience of the powder packets is a big advantage for those with busy lifestyles. 4. Performance and Hydration I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my hydration levels and overall performance during workouts. The electrolytes help maintain energy and reduce muscle cramps, which is crucial for endurance and recoveryAd1. The added minerals and vitamins also contribute to overall well-being. 5. Value for Money Considering the quality of ingredients and the benefits provided, Sports Research Electrolytes offer good value for money. The price is reasonable for the comprehensive formula and the convenience of the individual packets2. Overall Experience Sports Research Electrolytes have exceeded my expectations in terms of flavor, mixability, and performance enhancement. They are a well-rounded supplement that supports hydration and overall health, making them an excellent choice for athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike

No night cramps!
This powder dissolves in water pretty quickly with a good stir, and the taste of lemon-lime is good. Unfortunately there is a salty taste as I drank it (so I took off one star), so for us people who are sensitive to salt, the 400 mg of sodium is considerable (but inevitable I guess, AND this powder has a lot less than some other brands on the market!). The good news is that the lemon-lime taste outdid the saltiness after I finished drinking the glassful. No nasty 'after-taste'. And, most importantly, after drinking this around 4pm, I didn't have my usual night cramps in my legs. Hooray!

high-quality mix that stands with the big brands, for less
The value of this is off the charts, and when you're averaging an hour or 2 a day of intense training, electrolytes for recovery can add up. Secondly, the flavors are pretty solid. The Cherry Pom has been my favorite of the few I've tried so far. 400mg of sodium per serving is higher than most of these mickey mouse imitation electrolyte mixes you'll see on Amazon and it also has an impressive breadth of other electrolytes and nutrients. The cheaper knock-offs might work for folks who are like going hiking or hanging out at the beach, but if you're actually doing serious endurance training (especially in the summer), this has been the best bang for my buck I've found. Aside from jumping to the big boys like LMNT where you're paying a premium for the brand, this is a great value. I also like getting them in a tub instead of individual little packages, because it's nice being able to do a scoop and a half or 2 scoops if I know I need it. I think I'll be recovering with this brand for a while as long as they stay at this price point. -Ironman all-world athlete

Taste is disappointing
I really trust Sports Research and buy many of my supplements from them without worrying about ingredient quality. However, this electrolyte powder contains very little magnesium, which is already one of the hardest minerals to get from food. I’m also not sure why vitamin B6 is included. I do like that it contains B12, but B6 is very easy to obtain through diet, and it would make more sense to have a 1:1 ratio of B6 to B12. On top of that, the taste is disappointing. I tried the Cherry Pomegranate flavor, and it tasted like straight sugar with red coloring — nothing special or refreshing about it.

Quality Ingredients But Poor Flavor-BUT THEY ISSUED A REFUND
I use a lot of Sports Research products and think they are good quality in general. This is the first time I've used the Hydrate. The ingredient list is good, but I find the flavor almost disgusting. The artificial-tasting lime would best be left out, and they put way way too much steviol sweetener in it. Even though the steviol has almost zero calories, it is disgustingly sweet. Why do marketers think everything needs to taste like coca cola or candy in order to sell it? UPDATE: I tried to return the product to Amazon but Amazon said "not returnable" and suggested I contact the vendor, which I did. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE APOLOGIZED AND ISSUED A FULL REFUND, SO GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SPORTS RESEARCH! I will probably use the refund to buy my next shipment of their Creatine product, which I've been happily using for some time. Thanks Sports Research.

Bought these for a recent vacation and they were a great find. I really liked that they come in individual packets—it made it so easy to toss a handful into each of our backpacks without worrying about spills or bulk. They were super convenient to use on the go, which is always a plus when traveling. All of the flavours were enjoyable, but the lime one definitely stood out as my favourite. Refreshing, easy, and travel-friendly, exactly what I was hoping for.
