I have both the blue & green version.Yes, it is accurate , I played several HZ tones and just the tone being played lit up on the spectrum analyzerit is useful if there is a treble sound that annoys you, you look at the spectrum and when you here the tone and see the lights raise then you know what frequency on your EQ to lower.

The media could not be loaded. I used to love these Audio Frequency Analyzers back in the 1980's. They came with a lot of high-end Stereo Systems, but they kind of disappeared and have been fairly difficult to find. This nicely displays the Lows, Mids and High ranges. Each song has its own unique 'dance' of lights. It really adds a neat element to any nice sound system. Easy to hook-up.

Is it a nice spectrum analyzer? Yes it is. Is it worth that much money? I don’t think so. I think it’s way overpriced for what it does.
