I needed another battery to add to the four 18-volt 2Ah Hitachi batteries I have that are about 8 years old. It fits my newer Metabo HPT tools and about 8-year-old Hitachi tools without a problem. It's twice as big and heavy as the 2Ah battery but gives a much longer run time being 2.5Ah/5.0Ah. I can't comment on longevity with only using it for a few days, but it charges well and runs my tools well. I'll buy this one again when needed. The 4Ah/8Ah are good but can be a bit on the heavy side.

nice battery, functions wonderfully and charges fast. polished metal with a 36 corless grinder 6' refined corners with a 18v die grinder didn't need to use the drill and impact drill but tested it with some spare wood drilled a couple hools and set 2 screws as a test. worked 💪 Metabo hpt has done well in my book both corless and corded

I have been waiting years for Metabo hpt to catch up with the market standard of battery construction. They have always powered perfectly well, just not external casing wise. I am happy, but now wish they would get the 8.0 ah/4.0 ah updated as well.

I've used allot of off brands this is legit and a very good long lasting product. As long as you charge it right off the bat once opened. They hold a charge

Battery fit well. Initial impressions are that it is a good battery. Will see how long it will run and how long it will maintain its charging capacity. The factory original (Hitachi) smaller batteries are about fried now and do not hold a charge, but will admit it has been a few years.

I bought a Tachi cordless tools 15 years ago had a few batteries in my garage for almost 10 years took them out, and none of them are dead and they all still work Where other companies I own not to mention any names are dead and can’t use anymore Getting rid of every other brand that I own and completely using Metabo now I can’t wait to get the vacuum

It was good price

The battery lasts two whole days of driving 3 inch screws all day with my impact driver. I worried that it would need the new charger, but it charges fully on the old smart charger. My old charger actually went bad and would not charge batteries fully. I thought it was the batteries going bad, but when I charged those one the new charger they were rejuvenated! Love the new battery life indicator on the battery itself. Much better than the two little red LED indicator on the tool.

La compre por el precio, la durabilidad es muy buena, es ligera, no tiene mucha proteccion al uso rudo, hay que cuidarla de lla golpes, hacerle un protector de goma o algo para que dure ya qué el plástico se ve que puede quebrarse
