Serving size is 1g (approx 1 scoop) but directions say take 5g (1 scoop)… umm what?

I am always looking for a good supplement to aid or improve my workout performance. Based on the claims of XPRS Nutra L Carnitine L Tartrate Powder, this seemed like a good fit for me. I really like the ability to buy in bulk and get more servings. I don't need the capsules for serving. The bag does include a nice little plastic scoop for properly measuring the 1g serving. The expiration date is far enough out to complete the entire 226g bag. The first thing I noticed after opening the bag was the smell. I recommend NOT smelling the contents. This stuff smells really bad. Scoop it, mix it, and move on. I tried it in an 8oz glass of water. The flavor doesn't leave much to be desired either. I find that it really helps to mix each serving with a glass of fruit juice. The serving size is small enough to not overpower whatever you choose to mix it with. I take this supplement prior to my workouts. It does seem to improve my stamina and energy level. I am able to jog longer and not feel overly exhausted. I feels as though it may be improving my weight training as well. I haven't taken anything in a while that truly seems to benefit my workouts but this does. I haven't noticed any negative side affects. My stomach is not upset and I don't feel bloated. At this early stage of trying this product, I am pleasantly surprised by the results. I will continue to take this as a pre-workout supplement. This product meets my expectations.

L Carnitine has a variety of health benefits. I was taking L Carnitine capsule supplements since I am a vegetarian and can’t get it from meat that I don’t eat. The other host of benefits are a plus liked boosting recovery from work outs, better brain function, immune boost, etc. I do feel better on the recommended supplements for vegetarians. Now with the powder form I don’t have to swallow pills and can just add to my protein shakes daily. It dissolves well and doesn’t interfere with my chocolate flavored protein drinks with fruit added but it does have a mild fishy-ish odor in the bag. The bag says 226 servings (8oz bag) so it will last a long while. A tiny scoop is included for the 1 gram serving. Expiration date isn’t until July of 2024. I’ll hold off on the 5th star until I’ve tested the powder version on myself for a longer period.

I've been reading up on the various benefits of L-Carnitine for different aspects of health from cognition to fertility to body composition and more and was excited to try this supplement from XPRS Nutra. I like that it is 100% pure and does not contain any added fillers, flavors, etc. The expiration date is 7/2024. The value good considering you get 226 servings. I appreciate that it comes with a scoop too. It mixes pretty easily into liquid. The only negative aspect for me is that it has a fishy odor when you open the bag.
