I'm so happy that I purchased this scale. It feels very solid, looks great and was clearly professionally made. It works perfectly, and is highly accurate. It also comes perfectly calibrated from the factory, so there's no need to calibrate it yourself when you start using the scale. A huge plus! This scale conveniently comes with (2) AAA batteries, and a (100) gram calibration weight. The included calibration weight is awesome, because having to purchase the calibration weight separately would cost about the same as the cost of the scale itself, if not more. Those calibration weights are not cheap. I almost purchased a similar sized scale for a couple dollars less, but it didn't come with a calibration weight. The problem was, that the calibration weight that was required would have cost me more than the cost of the actual scale itself. So, not only is this a great quality scale, but it also saved me quite a bit of money (by not having to purchase the calibration weight separately). It comes factory calibrated, but eventually over time, you'll need to re-calibrate it yourself. All scales require periodic calibrations in order to maintain accuracy. I highly recommend this scale (with the calibration weight included)!
