NOT SILK. I didn’t really expect it to be at this price. I did expect satin polyester that would be good for hair and skin in the winter (in the summer I expected it to be too sweaty). I didn’t expect to have static electricity causing my hair to stand on end and the worst bed hair I’ve ever experienced. If you’re worried about friction damaging your hair just imagine all those little cuticle scales being repelled from the hair shaft by static. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY.

Satin pillowcases not silk

Think of chaning Tatum wrapping his arm around you as you slowly drift off to sleep, then replace channing Tatum with a little silky puppy - and this is close to the best night sleep you will ever have with this pillow case - airy , breathable and great for your hair and skin, lovely colour like a pearl! Great quality, value for money and wash ability - there is no zip so can’t comment on that
