I had a foster dog who had cancer in the stomach and in his esophagus so t tell you that keeping his weight up was nearly impossible One day with out eating or eating less he would drop weight so rapidly When I got him he was 8 pounds, I got him to weight 13 pounds but with crazy amount of food and added calories and feeding 5-6 times a day Once he stop eating so much he dropped down to 9 pounds in just one week, i purchase this and he would drink this multiple times a day along with the calories paste I would rub in his mouth this helped because was liquid so easier to get to his stomach and when he would not drink it I would add ice to it and or use a syringe and pour it in his mouth, gave him the entergy he needed.
