If you need a grommet from time to time, you can't go wrong
I do a lot of repairs at home, on just about anything you can think of. From time to time I need a grommet, if not for repairing electrical wiring, I might be running a fuel line or even a control cable, and need to protect these items from the sharp edges of the material they are running through. Recently, I was converting the old 8-foot long fluorescent lighting in my mother-in-law's garage to the latest LED-lighting. Rather than toss out the old metal housings of the two fluorescent lights, I gutted them and installed the new LED strips in them. The housings were beautifully made years ago and were hard-wired into the house wiring of the garage. Why throw all of that out? They were perfect to house the transformers for the LED strips and to attach those strips to, as well. Placing the transformers inside the housings with the power leads meant it was necessary to run the LED leads through the housing to plug them into the transformers. There were no punch-outs where the leads needed to go through the metal of the housings, so it was necessary to drill access holes. This required protection for the leads going through the holes; enter the need for grommets. I would have needed grommets whether I'd used punch-outs or drilled holes, so this grommet kit from InstallGear was perfect. The kit doesn't offer every size grommet there is, but the selection is good and you can easily find something to fit most things a homeowner might need them for. The quality is fine and they arrived quickly. Price was very reasonable as well. What more could you ask for? Oh, yes, I found the perfect size for our project. Thanks for the good deal.

Good selection
Not a whole bunch to say about these except that they work as expected and have a good variety of sizes. I'm using these to protect wires that run to an Arduino project case. These are plastic for prototyping but the final versions use metal. These won't work for waterproof applications without some extra filler but do a good job of reducing abrasion of the wire against the case.Installation is easy enough. I use a reamer to clean up the drill hole and (sometimes) use a bit of hot glue if there's too much play. The smaller sizes can be a bit challenging. It's a tradeoff between ease of installation and a snug fit once installed, but I tend to go for the ease of installation.Other than that, this is a fairly commodity item and meets my expectations.
