She Thought It Was "Perfectly" Hilarious!
After how much my 4-year-old loved "Don't Push the Button," I was on the lookout for more interactive books, and "This Book Is Perfect!" caught my eye. The title itself is a bit cheeky, which I liked! Finn the Frog is a pretty endearing character, and my daughter had a blast with all the things the book asks you not to do, or the silly things it claims about itself. She was especially amused when the book would declare how perfect it was, right before something chaotic happened on the page. The Good Stuff (Pros):Genuinely Interactive: This isn't just a passive reading experience. My daughter was turning the book, shaking it, talking back to Finn – the whole nine yards. She loves being part of the action.Lots of Laughs: The humor really landed with her. The book has a playful, almost conversational tone, and Finn's confidence mixed with the silly situations is a great recipe for giggles.Keeps Attention: Because it's constantly prompting some kind of interaction or reaction, it really held her focus. No wandering off mid-story with this one!Finn is a Fun Character: My daughter quickly took a liking to Finn. He's expressive, and his predicaments are easy for a young child to understand and find funny.Could Be Better (Cons):A Little Noisy (in a Good Way!): Like other interactive books, this isn't one for quiet, wind-down time. It definitely gets her energized and chatty. Some Directions Needed a Tiny Bit of My Help: A couple of the interactive prompts were a smidge abstract for her at first, so I just guided her a little on what the book was suggesting she do. No big deal, though.Durability with Interaction: As with any book that encourages vigorous shaking or page turning, I always have a little voice in the back of my head hoping the binding holds up to her enthusiasm! It's been fine so far.Bottom Line: "This Book Is Perfect!" was a fantastic find for us. It’s clever, genuinely funny, and my daughter felt like she was truly playing with the book, not just reading it. If your child enjoys interactive stories and a good dose of silliness, Finn the Frog is definitely worth inviting into your reading rotation. She certainly thinks it lives up to its name!

A Family Treat
Family hit!! I found this for our 5 year old grandson and felt he would enjoy it. When it arrived and I looked at the cover I was certain he would. He was locked in on the first page and laughed and talked about each situation as the book unfolded. His GrandDad and Mom have also read it to him a few times after hearing us read it and his aunt and uncle have also sat down to enjoy it. It back and instant hit with the entire family.I want to mention this child cannot sit still mentally or physically but he grabs this book and can't wait to look at the colors and even can tell me the story as he turns the pages now. This book has been a gift in so many ways and I would encourage you to buy it for the child who maybe can't focus or one who is drawn to silliness. There are so many angles to use this book to help a child focus, even if it's mere seconds to begin to see Finn. It all starts somewhere and this book is the perfect place to begin. Be sure to use the cover to grab their attention and enjoy the laugh for yourself as well. It's funny every time!

Funny, adorable book, our child was eating cheese puffs at the first reading, oh how we laughed!
I bought this for my 4-year-old granddaughter who loves to eat cheese puffs. I waited until she was snacking on them, and I sat beside her and started reading and showing her the pages. It was Christmas morning and the whole family was gathered in the room. Everyone burst into howls of laughter! The book was a big hit. Her 7-year-old brother said, "Does the book really say that?" He thought it was hilarious and I noticed him reading it to himself shortly thereafter. It's funny and sweet and adorable. I'll be buying more from this series.

Light-hearted fun
A picture book about a frog named Finn that likes everything perfect. His prized possession is a book. When visitors come and spill things on it, get it sticky with gum and tear its pages, Finn becomes distrught. The illustrations are eye-popping and the text fun to read out loud. There is not much to the plot or character. Appropriate for preschoolers or primary grade children looking for light-hearted humor.
