great speargun / powerful, compact and pretty easy to load
Overall excellent compact speargun for the money. Amazing power, range and solid construction. My son never shot one before and was able to get the hang of this easily. Within a half hour he had bagged several fish and was beaming at his success. Comes with a pump to keep the pressure up if needed. No complaints at all / sure this will be one we use every year.

Good price
Great speargun. Loading is VERY stiff. I would suggest loading the shaft by pushing against concrete walkway, side of pool or rock. The more you use, the slightly easier it will be to load. It is made to retain the same pressure for entire life of gun. You should NEVER need to pump it back up. It doesn't lose pressure as you use it, so you should be able to use it for thousands of times without ever needing to re-pressurize. NEVER shoot it out of water though. You shouldn't keep a shaft in it, so if you need to release the shaft & no water is present, place it against pavement, press down against it & pull trigger. As long as you are pressing down against it, it will slowly release the shaft safely. If you shoot it out of water, it can ruin the internal mechanism since the recoil is made to be cushioned by the water density and you cab permanently damage the gun.

Spear Gun
I've tried a variety of spear guns over the years, but this one truly stands out from the rest. The design is incredibly efficient, and it offers a level of precision and power that I haven't seen in any other spear gun. It's reliable, durable, and has made my recent underwater adventures much more enjoyable.

Great for low visibility. Small but packs a punch.
Great gun for low visibility. I started out with 2 band guns, one 70cm and the other 100cm. Since I dive mostly freshwater reservoirs, sometimes you can't even see past the end of your spear with the other guns. This one works really well (I got the 55cm). Even the 70cm one would be better since the spear doesn't stick out as far past the muzzle like a band gun does. It is easy to load and to aim. It does pack a punch though especially at the short range. I think it will still be good for longer range shots as well. I did have the line tangle up on one shot though since you wrap it so many times. I'm sure part of it is because I added a shock cord, but I hope long term it doesn't cause any problems.

All in all it is a very dependable product and i would recommend it to anyone wanting to switch to a pneumatic ...
I bought this gun because I wanted one that was slightly longer. I have yet to dive in blue water, but for the clear waters of Lake Ouachita in Arkansas this is a hard hitting gun. I had to let a little bit of the air out so that it wouldn't blow the fish in half. I prefer this one to may Mares Frontiersman due to the length, which my mares is a 55cm. This 70cm allows me to reach further and place my shot more accurately. All in all it is a very dependable product and i would recommend it to anyone wanting to switch to a pneumatic with out paying an arm and a leg.

Fantastic spear gun for the price
Fantastic spear gun for the price. requires a little DIY as the string doesn't hold well. I put an accordion spring on it with a loop of string attached to the spear shaft. I've owned two of these (one's a loaner) and they've been excellent performers with no issues.

Change out the plastic cord.
It's a great gun but lost the bolt on my 6th shot because the cheap cable that connects the gun to the bolt broke. If you do buy get a different cable before use.
