Small, Simple, and Cost-Effective Printer
Very nice printer — small, simple, and prints well, nothing fancy but works perfectly. I love the HP membership option, where you can print for very little cost. Honestly, it’s amazing because I used to spend £20–30 on ink after printing about 10 pages, and then months would pass without using it, and the ink would dry out, forcing me to buy more. This time, I decided the ink cost more than the printer itself (it was on sale), so I bought it and got a free trial for a few months — I didn’t pay for ink at all. Great option, great printer, very easy to connect and set up, looks nice too. Highly recommend!

HP 2820e A4 Printer Scanner Copier
Absolutely brilliant compact A4 printer, with scanner and photocopier. Supplied with small starter ink packs. HP Instant Ink subscription gives you an upgraded 6 months free trial in you register for it within a week of receiving or setting up your printer. This gives you free ink to your door and enables you to work out what your typical printing needs are in a month to know which monthly subscription package is best for you after the trial ends, and then you keep getting genuine HP ink 50% cheaper than in store. Very easy to instal and use from the HP app on your computer, and works seamlessly from a phone app too, so long as each device is on the same WiFi network that you've set the printer to. It only works with WiFi. There is no cable. No problems printing anything. Couple of glitches in the first couple of days, with it saying printer was online but unavailable, when I then learned that if this happens you need to switch everything off and on again to reset it. Everything seems to be stable since then - no problems printing from laptop or phone, from any document/page/image/photo source. HP customer support is superb. Prompt callbacks, professional support will talk and walk you through what to do to help you with your query. Patient and friendly support agents willing to help dummies. Print quality is great. Works with ease. Total bargain. Fabulour price. Great service from Amazon, too. I'm so glad I chose HP, and love my printer/copier/scanner. It prints instantly, and is fast enough for my domestic needs. Colour prints look true to colour.

Simple, reliable and cheap
I bought this printer for work purposes. I use it 3-4 times per week and print text only, very rarely do I print images in colour. The ink quality is not really something which is important for me. With that in mind, this printer has met all my expectations. It always prints first time and as of yet I have had no issues with connecting to my MacBook (as I did with a previous printer). It never misses a beat. I would recommend buying XL refilled ink cartridges as they last for a very long time. If you are looking for something simple, reliable and relatively cheap, this printer will serve you well.

I regret buying this printer
I bought this printer for home use to replace a Canon printer I had owned for years that came to the end of its life. I’ve had this printer for a year now and have enough knowledge of it to be thinking about junking it for a more suitable printer. Setup was easy enough. I chose not to use the ink subscription option as I use the printer only occasionally and do not wish to pay for more than I need. My main issues are that it is only possible to load about 5 sheets of paper in at a time. I’m not sure why exactly, but it seems that the paper feed system is quite iffy. As others have reported often it cannot load the paper which results in having to hand feed the paper through. So even printing a few pages can turn into a much more difficult task than one would imagine. My other major issue is that the printer estimates the amount of ink left in the cartridges. When you have printed a certain number of pages it will let you know that the cartridges are low. Then you cannot print anything at all until you replace the cartridges. There may well be ink left inside the cartridges, but you cannot use it. There is no loss of resolution on the last printed sheet - it is just time to buy more cartridges. There is no warning that this will happen, it is just a flat refusal to print any more. So you could be caught out if you need to print something urgently. I rarely print in colour but the app tells me that both cartridges are estimated to be low and I cannot print. This is the second time this has happened, and the last time it could be resolved only by replacing the cartridges. I am feeling I may buy another printer now instead of more cartridges.

Effortless Setup, Sharp Prints, and Great Value – HP Does It Again
I needed a second printer for my business and decided to stick with HP, as I’ve always had a reliable experience with their products. After browsing around, I found the HP DeskJet 2820e All-in-One Printer on Amazon — incredibly affordable and available with next-day delivery through Prime, which made it an easy choice. Setup was effortless. Within minutes of unboxing, I had it up and running. All I had to do was plug it in, download the HP Smart app, and follow the on-screen prompts. The whole process took less than ten minutes, and I had it connected, configured, and registered without a hitch. For such a compact and low-cost printer, the print quality really impressed me. Documents come out crisp and professional-looking, and photos are vibrant with well-balanced colours. Scanning and copying are just as simple, and everything can be managed straight from my phone or laptop — no cables cluttering up the desk, no complicated setup. One of the best features is the inclusion of 3 months of HP Instant Ink, which takes all the stress out of running low on cartridges. It monitors usage automatically and orders replacements before you run out — a small but brilliant convenience that saves time and money. It’s also refreshingly quiet in operation and wakes up from standby almost instantly, so there’s no waiting around. Wi-Fi connectivity has been reliable too — no frustrating dropouts or reconnect issues. The only minor downside I’ve found is that you can’t scan directly from the iPhone app without creating an HP account — a small frustration, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, the HP DeskJet 2820e is a fantastic little printer for home or small business use. It’s sleek, simple to use, and delivers sharp, dependable results every time. For everyday printing, scanning, and copying, it’s hard to fault — especially at this price point.

Not worth the good price
This price proved superior currently on offer. It works but, using lots of ink for some papers doesnt matter if color or only in black. Worst id the Wifi setting there is no plug-in port. There is an update for this series available in this HP Smart, but it is not working and lets you wait forever, like days waiting and the download is still not finished. Would I recommend it to another person who has had issues before with Wi-Fi stuff? or they just using it 2 to 3 times in the year? No

Good printer, easy to use
Needed a new printer, my old one is so old its not compatible with my new laptop. This does what it says, prints nicely and clean looking. Easy to use. Quick and not too noisy either.
