Is this case wide enough to support a cooler master hyper 212 evo?
I've seen photos of the handle (from a Q300P) being attached to the center of the top panel of this case. Is this possible?
what are the size and placements of the fans?
Does the case come pre-assembled?

great small form factor case, easy to install even being small.

I like the small size. With my fans and video card it cant really be any smaller. I had no trouble installing it even as a man with big hands. I like the clear panel. The fan it comes with it kinda silly. Not much air comes out past the case panel for it. Its older so no usbc so i added my own. I like the rubber feet on the side and bottom for use either orientation. I really liked the price! I would happily buy another. The power supply fits snuggly in the bottom, no extra room but it fits nicely.

Best mini case for the best price!

This is the most PERFECT mini-case for your first small computer! Great for gamers and office workers alike, it's very portable and easy to route the cables and everything! Plus, being able to move the I/O ports is a great function!

Decent budget case

I picked up the Cooler Master Q300L V2 to use with my Plex server. I was looking for an inexpensive case that would not take up too much space but looked good. This fit the bill.Pros:- Ample space for cable management behind the motherboard tray- Compact design- Space for a 240MM AIO (front mount)- Tempered glass side panel- Plenty of cable pass-throughs- Supports 120 and 240 MM fans- Front panel USB C- Can be used both vertical and horizontalNeutral:- Pre-drilled fan holes smaller than most case fan screws (120 mm fans)- Some restrictions on component sizeCons:No basement"pop-out" PCI slot coversMetal feels flimsy (it held up fine for the build, but I could easily see it getting bent if I wasn't careful)Included case fan is very basicThe Cooler Master Q300L V2 is a good choice if you are looking for a compact case at a budget price. The case is similar to the $20-dollar cheaper original Q300L (and uses the same chassis) but adds a USB-C connection to the front panel and replaces the acrylic side panel with tempered glass. They also updated the magnetic filters to a new design. There is plenty of room behind the motherboard tray for cable management and disk drives - there are mounts for one 3.5" and two 2.5" drives.Additional case fans are a must as the air holes in the case walls are much smaller than the printed side of the magnetic filter would have you believe. I bought a 5-pack of Antec P12 120MM fans to go along with this case and mounted two front intake, one rear exhaust, and two top exhaust. That, along with my CPU cooler (Cooler Master 212 Hyper Black Edition) does the trick. Idle temps are around 35-36 Celsius for a Core Ultra 7 265k using stock settings with a 24 Celsius (75 Fahrenheit) ambient room temp. Under load (Cinebench R23 multi-core test) some cores peaked at about 82 Celcius but in general the package was in the high 60s to mid 70s. While the pre-drilled fan holes were too small for the fan screws, the case air holes were perfectly sized and actually provided more flexibility for fan mounting. There are some restrictions on component size, but they are well documented. I did not have any issues fitting any of my parts. I did see in an online review (and verified with my build) that even though you can fit a bottom fan in the case, depending on the size of your PSU the cables may be in the way.Building in this case was OK. The lack of a removable top and the limited space once components were added made running some wires more difficult. I will note that if I had to do it again I would have added components in a different order. For example, with the PSU installed it was harder to connect the back-of-system plugs (HD audio, fans) to the MicroATX board I used as it was very close to the connecters and limited the approach. All in all, I would recommend this case if you are in the market for a good looking, inexpensive, compact case for a budget or even mid-range build.

The perfect small tower case

This is a really amazing case, no wasted space at all and completely covered in magnetic dust grills to make cleaning easy. Pretty much perfect for a small case and very easy to work with unlike most smaller cases. As a bonus, the magnetism also made installing the fans very easy and you can get more of them in there than I would have imagined.

Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L Micro-ATX Tower

This is an absolutely amazing micro-ATX case. It is easy to work in. It looks great. The filters on the bottom, front, and top are easy to wipe off and do a good job keeping things out. The cable management is better than expected for such a small case. The only caveat to all of this, is that this case is not sufficient for modern high end video cards. It will not support a 3 wide and 3 fan GPU. While one could technically fit once inside there is not available space in the opening for it to be inserted.

Small is better

The swap was easy and all nesisary hardware came with it, the case is of excellent quality and I'm very happy with it. Fit the 5 120mm fans and an 240mm aio CPU cooler. Cable management was easy. Overall looks great!

Not the worst, but still better options.

For $60, there's probably better options out there. To start, this case doesn't have a lot of brackets to mount your fans to, you're going to need to drill the fans in directly if you want to actually have a cool cpu. Another issue is the fan that comes with the case is nearly worthless, it's an exhaust fan that barely is able to blow out air, if you buy this fan I'd buy a three-pack of other fans to at least keep the temperature below 80 degrees. The manual that came with the case was a bit iffy when it came to instructions. If you're looking to mount extra fans, you'll need to find 120 mm fans and kind of line them up according to the outside mesh. This isn't clearly indicated anywhere that I was able to find. The sturdiness of the parts are a bit questionable, the dust filters are pretty easy to accidentally bend if the computer slides on the ground, and a couple of plastic pieces on the inside broke while assembling which made the outer case a bit flimsy. This case does have a USB C which is nice, and a few USB As as well. Another issue I have are the PCL Slot Covers are snap off, not screw off which means you can't reuse those parts if you decide to change your mind. The color seems decent, though it can be pretty easily scratched when it comes to screwing in your fans. Although it's small, I'd say cable management is pretty decent as well, expect a fully built PC to be about 19 pounds.
