I am very pleased with this design for a soldering iron cleaner. It stays put. Cleans the iron nicely. The compact design does not cause a space problem. Finally, the scrubber can be easily replaced, which is a bonus. Highly recommend.

I find this to be very helpful cleaning iron tips. Only thing I don't like about this particular product is the spun wire could be more dense. Other than that it does the job.

These tips are the lowest quality you could possibly find. They will not get up to temperature. I’m by no means an expert but I’ve been soldering for over a decade, and I’ve never struggled like this. Nothing but cold solder joints because it barely gets hot enough. I even tried setting the temperature all the way up, which should have been wayyyy to hot for what I was working on, and it was still not getting hot enough. Very disappointed.

I saw this type of soldering tip cleaner on YouTube soldering tip videos.In the past I’ve used wet paper towels and sponges. A small sponge came with my newest soldering tool.Of the ways to keep soldering tips clean this is definitely the easiest and best method!A clean tip is essential for better soldering so I highly recommend using this. It is very easy to clean the tips.I’m not sure if the coiled cleaning scrubbing will need replacing.Benefit of not cooling tip is nice.Only assembly is removing scouring pad from package inserting into metal case and sticking 3M anti slip pads to bottom.Metal case is thin but strong enough. About 3” in diameter and height.

These are a standard fit for just about any soldering iron, they fit my off-brand and my Ryobi just fine. Time will tell if they hold up long term, but for now they fit the bill and have a nice new fresh tip in my iron.

That stuff didn't last for 2 weeks. I am shopping for a better quality. It does it job though but I won't recommend it.
