High quality well made Mattock pick. My old collins one got deformed when i was using the mattock part as a pry bar so I needed a replacement and this Estwing is top quality. I have no doubt that this tool will last for years and be able to withstand the harsh abuse I give my digging tools. Highly recommend. The composite handle has good grip and feels solid with little vibration transfer on ground impact. Buy with confidence.

This is an excellently made tool. Used it to chop out weed filled sod and it made the job much easier. The handle is solidly attached, unlike my old one with a wooden handle that was always coming loose.

Just what I needed for digging through roots in clay soil. Makes the job so much easier. The handle is sturdy, and the tool definitely weighs at least 5lbs. The quality of this is amazing, I've used it for about 12 hours and I still haven't worn off the paint. If you are looking for a Mattock don't hesitate and get this one.

Most beautiful pick I've ever used. Almost hated to beat the ground with this thing. Sorry to say the ground loses and this product works really well.

The item is great quality. Heavy and well made. I did receive the wrong one twice and finally gave up. I ordered the cutter mattock and kept getting the pick. But that's a human error - nothing wrong with the item

I've been using this pick axe for about a month now doing a yard refurbishment and it has been great. I'm not getting a ton of reverb through the handle, the pick has stayed sharp, and it cuts through the clay level we have here with ease.I should have stepped up the extra couple of bucks sooner as this tool is well worth it over the others out there that are a few bucks less.
