Works with T-Mobile Sim
This product worked really well but due to it being an att product, it was a nightmare to get it unlocked. I was not able to do an eSIM with my tmobile account but the SIM card was super easy to get from my carrier and install. When that was completed it works really well. The speed is super fast and was able to stream videos with ease in the hotel. Great value for the product. The touch screen makes it really easy to navigate.

Does not work as advertised
After 2 months the speeds are terrible. Put SIM card back to my old MIfi device and works perfectly. Would not recommend

Fast set up (at&t sim), great touch screen
If you already have a sim for your hotspot and know how to use one, BUY IT!!!!I already have a Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 4G LTE hotspot, which has worked great for me (had it around 4 years).I also have a MUCH OLDER AT&T ZTE MF279, which has been limping along for the last 2 years and needed to be replaced.Having had such a great experience with the older Nighthawk, I thought I would give the M6 model a go. The specs looked good, and the amazon refurbished price was too good to pass up.Setup was super easy: I took the SIM out of my MF279 and put it in the M6, and presto, it was connected. My AT&T web portal also has recognized it.Setting up my SSID, password, and preferences (performance mode, frequency ranges [2.4 ghz, 5 ghz, or both], guest wifi, and a few other things) were easily done from the touch screen! (On my previous nighthawk mobile router, all config had to be done via a browser or the nighthawk mobile app). The box came with a power cord (usbc with attached [not detachable] wall wart), ethernet cable, and printed instructions.Download speed has been great. 50 to 100 Mbps. Upload averages 3 Mbps.I have streamed video from it flawlessly, which you would expect at those speeds.I also tested against my older model Nighthawk with 4glte, and using my 5G phone hotpsot, all running on at&t cellular. The new one was better than the older one, and comparable in speed to my cell phone.I did notice my Roku had much better download speeds connected to the 2.4ghz network than the 5ghz network.Full disclosure: we live in the rural central texas. Wired internet is not available to our location yet. (It's been promised for 7 years. ) Up until January, we used our dedicated hotspot devices for all internet traffic for our house. (We have a legacy at&t account that does not throttle or cap our data on hotspot devices.) In January, we got starlink, after a 3 year wait. We have kept our hotspots for travel and backup. One screen shows speedtest data. The 2 that show 5g are speeds my cell phone gets directly to the internet. The rest are my phone and my ipad connected through the new wireless hotspot. I was hoping for better upload speeds, for video calls, but oh well. Most networks are tuned for downloads.Bottom line:This is a GREAT VALUE for a wonderful product. As long as you know what you are doing, and you are in an area with decent coverage - and you have the right kind of cellular account to support a dedicated hotspot device - you will not be disappointed.

So far so good
I needed a replacement for dead mobile hotspot in our camper. We go up regularly during the summer, and it's good to have reliable internet access. While many campgrounds have WIFI, most are shared, and horrifically slow. While 4g speeds aren't blazing fast either, it's still an improvement over a shared/weak WIFI signal.I was apprehensive about buying refurbished, but didn't want to spend a ton of money for a hotspot, so took a chance.Connection speed is pretty much what I expect with a 4g signal, and the software booted and detected my sim card fine, setup was a breeze, and after a month, it's still going well. When I was able to connect to a 5g tower, the speeds were quite good. I only wish there were more of them where I go.

Works Great But Came with the Wrong Charger
I was able to use with Verizon SIM. The device has 3 different "Power Modes", one of which is to leave this device constantly plugged in like a regular router. When I selected this option, it wouldn't work. The screen said in order to use this mode, you need to "use the charger that came with the device". Well I was using the charger that came with the device, which means that they sent this device out with the WRONG CHARGER. I have not been able to find any phone support for BlueChip, no phone numbers on my receipt, and no phone numbers online. When I called Amazon support they told me that since it's a refurbished device I should not expect to get the correct charger. The I asked them to connect my with BlueChip, but instead they connected me with NetGear Support. This was a complete waist of time because NetGear wanted me to purchase a new charger. Just in case this happens to you, NetGear said the correct charger should be5-9 volts / 1.8-2 amperes. These chargers cost $25-$45 depending upon where your purchase them.Just an FYI, my Samsung ProBook has a similar charger, so the device is working fine with that, but that's not a good permanent solutions, so I still have to buy another charger.

Amazing bridge feature
The best thing about this router is that it allows you to do anything to connect the Internet. If you have a SIM card, you got Internet. Even if the Internet is slow, you still have access to something that can get you working if you’re on the move. The bridge feature on the router is phenomenal. It allows me to boost certain signals in order to utilize Wi-Fi and spaces, I never were able to. This product is great!

Does not work on AT&T MVNO Cricket
Claims to be unlocked and will work with AT&T network. Beware, this does not include MVNOs. My plan was to activate with Cricket, the MVNO actually owned by AT&T. Nope, they checked the IMEI and it cannot be activated.Just FYI, both Amazon and USPS failed on delivery. 29th to the 16th.Review is based on failure of the unit to be operational on an AT&T network, when description said it would work on AT&T.

Works as intended.
This hotspot worked fine for 6 months and then the SIM failed. AT&T was nice at replacing the SIM and after some reconfiguring we’re back up and running. It’s fast and easy to connect to directly or through a nest of routers. The Ethernet port is smart and connects quickly and stays connected. All in all a very good product.
