It fits fine if the back seat is up.

It's somewhere between rubbery and plastic-y, so I'd say "yes", your cargo won't be skidding around. I haven't had any skiddage problems. Don't drive like a banshee. And don't haul ice.

It is Black. They also come in Grey and Tan.

Q: What is the difference between model 40992 and 40997 cargo liner? do they both fit the 2019 honda crv?

I have the 40992 and it fits my 2018 CRV perfectly. From what I can tell it also fits the 2019 CRV as does the 40997. So I’m not sure what the difference is as the price is the same as are the colors that are offered and both include free shipping.
