NOT WATER PROOF! I work in a kitchen part time and these had my feet soaked. Don’t waste ur money on these, if my feet are soaked from kitchen work, they will definitely not hold up on a hike lol.

Works but no machine wash

I decided to buy a size up, my rationale was that I didn't want them super-tight - and I'm pleased I did. They are still pretty tight, but I put some of that down to them needing to be. They are waterproof (I use these on a mountain bike & had to wade a couple of times through boggy parts, mysterious puddles & fords). I suspect they are tight because otherwise water could run down the inside of the socks. At basically skin tight, they can't really happen. I should add that these aren't lightweight, summery socks. They have a bit of bulk to them, so consider that when pairing them with your shoes/trainers.
