I was so excited and happy when this Saatva pillow arrived, and I couldn't wait to try it out. I ordered the king size pillow, which measures 34"x18" and has an organic cotton cover. The pillow has dark blue piping, and it's the most beautiful pillow I've ever seen. I couldn't wait to try this out. I ordered the slim loft pillow, which measures approximately 4" tall and is recommended for back and stomach sleepers. I sleep on my side, so maybe the high loft pillow would've worked better for me, but I don't know about that. The pillow I received was definitely taller than any pillow I've ever had. I tried sleeping on this for a little over two weeks, and I never got comfortable with it. I woke up every morning with a very stiff neck that lasted all day long. I ended up sleeping at the very end of the pillow, where there isn't as much stuffing, and that was better but still not comfortable. I was very disappointed when this didn't work out for me. This pillow is hypoallergenic and is stuffed with "shredded natural latex core surrounded by a layer filled with down-like microdenier fibers, providing responsive head and neck support." That makes it sound as if the pillow was comfortable for everyone and gave you good head and neck support, but it just didn't work for me. That doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. I love the way the pillow's made and how it looks, and I very much wanted this to work out. I don't know why it didn't work for me, and I'm disappointed that it didn't. This is a gorgeous pillow, well made and beautifully designed, with navy binding and an organic cotton cover. It's stuffed with shredded latex and is hypoallergenic, which is a big plus with me, but it's just not comfortable for my neck or back. That doesn't mean it won't be the perfect pillow for someone else. I've had trouble finding just the right pillow all my life, and I was hoping this would be The One, but it's designed for back and stomach sleepers, a little bit of information I didn't notice before I ordered this, and I sleep on my side. If you sleep on your side or a combination of positions, the seller suggests you order the high loft pillow like this. I love the look and feel of this pillow and, of course, now I wish I'd ordered the high loft pillow. I hope this one will be comfortable as it gets broken in, and it's extremely well made and beautiful.

This pillow isn’t cheap but it’s worth it. I like a thinner pillow so I went with the standard loft, which is quite thin - for me it’s perfect.

I should have returned immediately upon receiving. No way firm, rather mushy soft. Even got a bag of shredded latex from SAATVA to make it firmer. All it did was make the pillow lumpy. Also, pillow does NOT stay cool. Very heavy as well with insert. Outer latex shell bunches up at ends of pillow and you have to constantly adjust it. Only had it 9 months and already purchasing a different brand pillow. Don't believe the reviews for "best firm latex pillow". An expensive mistake.

I ordered the low loft latex filled pillow in both the king and queen sizes (you can refer to my previous review if the king size, if you’d like), and this is my review of the queen pillow. This pillow has an envelope design with a zipper on the short side that allows you to access the inner latex core. Saatva says that this is so you can remove the latex in order to wash the pillow. The latex core is surrounded by a polyester fill outer shell. Overall, this is an exceedingly soft pillow, a characteristic that I typically like. As a back sleeper, I need lower loft pillows so that my neck stays aligned (you aren’t supposed to put your shoulders in a pillow, only your neck and head), however, I also like a very soft pillow that cradles my head, and doesn’t feel like my head is in something firm or unforgiving. Unfortunately for me, this pillow, with only the weight of my neck and head, flattens down instantaneously and leaves my neck and head feeling unsupported. It wasn’t at all comfortable to try to sleep on. I truly wish that Saatva had overstuffed their latex core and made that part of the pillow adjustable via a zipper or other closure, so that the consumer could adjust the loft to their liking. Instead, they provide a latex core in what resembles a muslin cloth, completely sewn shut. I may need to take the core out of this pillow and put it in the king (or vice versa) to see if doubling up provides enough support. I’m guessing that this pillow is probably best for stomach sleepers. It absolutely will not work for side sleepers, and I think a good majority of back sleepers will also find that there isn’t enough filling in it. With more filling in the core, I think it would be an extremely comfortable pillow, but as it is, it is an incredibly expensive pillow that I can’t use.

For $185, I expected a lot from this pillow. According to the label on the pillow, it's 59% polyester fiber and 41% shredded latex foam rubber. The pillow is fairly comfortable, but is it worth almost $200? Absolutely not. In order to lay on it I have to bunch it up, otherwise it's so flat that my head is almost laying on my mattress. It's also smaller than my other king sized pillows by what looks like a good few inches. I have pillows worth $30 that are more substantial than this pillow. It's so overpriced it's almost a joke. Absolutely not worth the money, buy a nice $50 pillow and call it a day. It's the same quality.
