Easy to use product
This is exactly what I needed and for the size and price its perfect. Bought a small case to go with it - highly recommend if you are going to purchase this. I haven't had any glitches, product has been compatible with everything I've used it for. Very satisfied!

Great hard drive

I just recently purchased this product. I use it for my video games storage. I must say that when it comes to Toshiba, I am one very satisfied customer. I have it plugged in right now in my Xbox One. No strange sounds (you know. Like if the hard drive is failing and about to die) period! I only wish they had more available, like a 4TB and greater. 5 Stars most definitely.

Easy to install but not fast
"Not fast" is in comparison to some of the new high speed USB memory sticks. The speed tapers off as more data is written onto the disk, apparently because the outer tracks are used at first, the inner tracks with lower surface speed later. Slow down is significant. I did not yet measure slow down but could be a factor of 2. Overall - roughly comparable to a medium quality USB stick. Still rate the convenience high - I back up over night.

Still going strong!
Ought it six months ago and it is working well with an iMac. Am pleased. Has a nice small footprint.

Good to have hard copy.
Fast food up speed and transfer speed. Maybe not as fast as they claim but it does backup my information quickly and from what I was told it's very reliable. So far so good.

It broke after 6months does not work good at all with ps4

toshiba makes great tech. i bought this as a replacement for a seagate i bought a year earlier that died the second i filled it. but this one works beautifully!
