Works well. This is so fun for people who don't have a fire option. Got this for father's day and it was a huge hit. Not used often, but the quality is good. Takes some time to heat the marshmallow but it's expected.

Purchased as a gift for my 20 year old college student. It works well and she is super happy that with no open flame it is “legal” to use in her dorm! :) , Technically I would give it 4.5 stars but rounded up because she loved it. Two things I would have docked it for - Two roasting sticks but realistically the heat area really works better for one marshmallow at a time rather than two - the little trays to hold ingredients are very difficult to connect properly (but the are also totally optional when it comes to operation

It’s nothing great by any means. It gets warm, it won’t really toast your marshmallows the way a fire would. It does make them melty enough to go in a s’more. However, only one person at a time can roast because the actual warming area is just too small. It’s easy to use. We don’t plan to use the trays so not sure how they work. We are using it inside so we just put the crackers and chocolate on a plate. I don’t want any mishaps with the metal while someone reaches for chocolate. Also, the forks it comes with are a joke. Like I said, I don’t want any kids hand that close to the hot metal plate. We have a real fire pit with telescoping forks so we used those for this. The kids had fun. I was iffy on if the kids would use it again but My son asked to keep it. It is less work than the wood burning firepit.
