Red Bull Racing F1 Car Manual: An insight into the technology, engineering, maintenance and operation of the Red Bull Racing RB6 (Owner's Workshop Manual)

I saw this book on Amazon and took a peek inside. It appeared to be just what I wanted for my husband's 65th birthday present. I sneaked it in to my hand luggage and it travelled to Lanzarote where we were celebrating 65th birthdays with friends, all of whom love F1 motor sport events. It was an instant hit all round and lived up to my expectation perfectly. The reviews I had read previously also convinced me to order a copy for him and I am so glad I did, he loved the book because it explains so much with numerous comments from all his favourite personalities. Are there any other F1 Haynes manuals for the other teams? The technical information is presented in a very readable format, written by experts who really know how it is and what to say. A trully great read for anyone interested in motor sport with amazing illustrations.

Amazing insight into how a F1 car works

This book is very much a branded insight into the Red Bull F1 cars around the 2010 season, such as the RB6. It's fairly light, but if you don't know much it's a great start. I liked the extra details around the regulations too. Pictures are insightful and were sychronised with the text. The pace and style promoted continual reading.

Good info and easy to follow pictures, makes a great gift for any fan who wants to understand the technicalities better.

I have got this an xmas present for my dad who is a retired mechanic and loves formula 1, I dont get it but on recieving this book I found myself interesed in the inner workings so im sure to a true petrol head this will be great :) I cant wait to see his face on xmas morning

I bought this for my dad who has enjoyed it. We had been watching the racing and he was wondering about a few things so I thought he would like this to dip in and out of.

This book was purchased for a grandson who is very keen on F1 motor racing and wants to pursue a carreer within the racing industry. As a first insight into F1 this seems an ideal book and I am sure it will be muchreferred to.

This book provides a great overview of an F1 car. As you would suspect, it doesn't go into much detail that would give away any of Adrian Newey's secrets. And it's definitely not enough information if you're looking to build yourself one of these machines. :P For the casual fan looking to learn more, this is an amazing book. Lots of pictures, diagrams, and illustrations help you understand the various part of the car, and it really conveys the complexity of these machines very well. For the hardcore fan, it's a fun read, but there isn't anything in here that you wouldn't find on any online technical blogs or while listening to the F1 race commentary.

Molto interessante e dettagliato, per i grandi fans del neonato team red bull racing o per chiunque altro appassionato di formula uno, con particolare interesse nel settore tecnico e ingegneristico delle monoposto. Tantissime immagini dei dettagli con accurate spiegazioni! Ovviamente è necessario una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese.
