Brilliant small gadget that is easy to use, despite the arthritic in my hands. Build quality is excellent. I use it on its finest setting to crunch up flax seeds to release the nutrients from their hard shells. Great price, fun colours. I give as gifts. Only quibble is that can’t really clean chamber so wouldn’t use for more than one seed or spice type. I refrigerate so flax seeds don’t go rancid inside it.

Bought on a whim to 'match' a quirky peppergrinder I picked up in TKMaxx (shoulda got two!) It's bright, funky, and quirky, but works really well, possibly suitable for arthritis/mobility sufferers as there's no gripping or turning going on, it's more like a simple lever back/forth. Filling is a bit fiddly, as it's a small 'flap' you need to open and pour your peppercorns/salt crystals into.

In my 76 years I’ve gone through a lot of pepper grinders of various sorts, including battery operated, but this is the ONLY one that deserves an unreserved 5 stars in every category. It’s sturdily made, the handle is simple and easy to use at speed even with arthritis, the large, clear peppercorn storage space couldn’t be simpler to refill, and it grinds lots of pepper quickly, neither too fine nor too coarse. Yes, expensive, but I expect this one to last literally for generations.

This is extremely easy to use, the ratchet type grinder means there is plenty of oomph to crush chilli flakes and peppercorns. I bought it to house the contents of a jar that had a twist grinder in the lid, which every time I used over a hot pan became clogged and by the time I'd finished cleaning the mechanism out I'd lost interest. This is a perfect replacement as it is solid and reliable, and I haven't had any clogging issues. If you are thinking of buying one of these, I hope you find this review useful!

I'm so happy to have found this amazing product. I love freshly ground black pepper and over the years have bought and replaced many pepper grinders. However, I have developed arthritis in my hands and wrists so gripping the old style grinders became painful and difficult. This design is both practical and user friendly. It is also very much easier to clean than the old ones. Simply grind some salt crystals through it to clean it. I love it!!!

These look weird due to the arm and odd motion to make them grind yet are by far the best grinders I have ever purchased. They are consistent in grind and handle salt and pepper with ease. So much so we have bought them in black, white red and green

I love this ratchet pepper grinder. I found it hard to grip the twisty ones because of my arthritis but this is so easy just move the lever backwards and forwards till you have the amount of pepper for your liking. East to fill just open the flap pour in peppercorns and close it again .really love this .

Estoy utilizando a diario este molinillo y está cumpliendo totalmente mis expectativas.Es muy cómodo de utilizar y muele muy bien. Negativo solo podría decir que cuesta extraer el resto de semillas que no necesitas moler y no quieres dejar en su interior, por ejempo, porque quieres moler otro tipo de semilla. Y quizás que hace un poco de ruido al moler por la fricción de la palanca, normal en este tipo de artículos de menaje.

A friend recommended this pepper grinder, and I'm totally loving it - and I don't even like black pepper much! It has a wide range in terms of the grind and is easy to adjust - I can't stand biting into big chunks of black pepper, so the finer setting is perfect for me for most uses. There are times when you'd want a rougher crack - like for steak au poivre - and this grinder can give you that as well, and adjusts easily. Whatever setting you use, I appreciate that it grinds very uniformly. It's easy and oddly fun to use (the crank handle is so satisfying!), and super simple to refill - no disassembly required, you just open the little slot on the side. I've been in search of just a good pepper grinder that wasn't too expensive for a long time, and I finally found on that is beyond good and reasonably priced.
