Makes for a solid night-light in the kid's room. It does require a bit of assembly but has needed no maintenance at all since turning it on. She absolutely love it.

While the lights and movement worked just fine for me, the jellyfish are pretty "fake" looking, especially the colored plug like things that make up their bodies. Maybe if the seller improved on these, they would look better. That said, if the color is set right, you barely notice the bodies of the 2 jelly fish.Adding your own tap water and dish soap is easy and fine, but after it sits for a day or 2, it gets very cloudy and it is best to clean out and start over with fresh water and soap.While I am not totally dissatisfied with this, I would say a small child might find it to be pretty cool.Why the seller says "Gifts for Women and Kids" and leaves out "men" is a bit odd.Not a terrible product, but it should either sell for less or be improved upon, thus the 3 star review.

Christmas gift for my 4 yr old son who just HAD to have it. It looked really cool, but it kept shutting off after just a min or two. At first I thought my son had the remote and was messing with me, because I didn't want to believe this brand new item would be defective (I know, I know, how deluded of me)... Anyway, now it won't even stay on for more than a couple seconds and when you hold the power button it will just do a strobe effect, but shut off as soon as you release it. I thought maybe there was a feature where you could set the time or something but if there is, I couldn't figure it out and there is nothing in the instructions that indicates that to be the case. Total waste of money and now my son thinks Santa Claus brings defective gifts.

Hi! It turns off after about an hour and now it wont even Turn on, I’ve had it for a day and a half lmaooo, not worth it, very pretty when it does work though! Save your money and just get the more expensive version first
