I don't think this smells quite as bad as other reviews say, but it's not really a good smell either. Some kind of musty funk going on with it but it's not so terrible I can't deal with it for an hour. That said, it does work extremely well for repairing and strengthening hair. I've been using it the last 2-3 weeks along with the Minimalist hair mask every wash day with excellent results after going overboard with bleach. My hair wasn't breaking off, but my natural curls were damaged enough to lose their curl and my overall hair was dry, frizzy, and tangled. Using this (and the treatment), my hair has regained a good amount of its curl but far more softness and shine than it had prior. It's immensely more manageable and I don't have the horrid frizz and static-y ends all the time now. I'm confident that the more I use it the more my curls will return.

I really like this product. I wasn’t sure about it at first but the results really do speak for themselves. After washing it out my hair feels like a million bucks. It’s so smooth, shiny, and soft. It makes my hair feel less damaged. It absolutely works. However, I didn’t give it five stars because the smell is pretty bad. I may be sensitive to it, but it’s pretty rough. Despite that, the product works SO well that if you really have damaged hair or it needs some love it is totally worth suffering the smell. I’m totally aware too that maybe this smell doesn’t bother everyone- to each their own. But just be warned it does smell, and I’d advise washing your hands after.

It works amazing the smell is kind of weird though. I have tried all the hair oil. Argan oil, Biosilk, Garnier sleek and shine, verb ghost oil, copper avocado oil mix, K18 I know it’s not oil but I am going to throw it in. This is the best. My hair is very fine and colored damaged. I have hard well water and live in the high desert. I have curly hair but it’s textured so it gets so frizzy. This makes my hair feel so much better, soaks in nicely isn’t greasy. Smells worst the first time you put it on but after a while it gets better and then I kind of like it. I would say though the smell can be off putting for some that’s why 4 stars and not 5. Worth every penny though. I love the bottle and how heavy it is. Plus the price point is amazing. I would try it.

Really softened my dry coarse hair, but it smells terrible.

I was really excited to try this product because everyone was raving about it on tik tok. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't even get through using it properly because the smell was absolutely awful. It was so strong and it literally made me gag by the time I added the first couple of drops. I washed it out immediately and I still had the smell lingering. I wish I could love this product but I just couldn't.

First off the smell seems to be a hang up for some. And let me just say, there is one, but it isn’t an added scent, if that makes sense. It smells like marjoram or maybe rue? And old books. There’s definitely an herbal smell and probably not one that people would use in their diffuser, but I find it rather pleasant. Reminds me of an old library in a room with an antique leather chair. But it’s also not so strong that I can smell it once I put it on and pull my hair back. Not your typical hair products smell, but 🤷‍♀️ Aside from that, let me just say - I have been bleaching my hair to dye it pink since 1996 and am always looking for products to help keep my hair healthy. This stuff really made my hair feel smooth and soft. I’d recommend!

Bought this since I heard it's a dupe for K58, not sure as i never used the original. However, after using this my hair feels amazing. One caveat is it has an extremely chemical scent. and feels almost like a dry oil. If you can get over the scent it's def worth a shot. I don't mind it that much personally but if you're sensitive to scents you may want to rethink this. I love this and use it once weekly. Also you need to leave it in for about an hour so make sure you give yourself time to use it.

I really hate scented products as perfumey scents tend to give me headaches/migraines and make me nauseous, I was so excited when I read the product description and saw it was unscented. When I opened up the package I knew this to be untrue immediately. I could smell it through an unopened bottle and the two boxes it comes in. It also clearly has “fragrance.” Listed in the ingredients. I used it because I don’t have money to waste but the smell made me so sick it’s extremely disappointing. I highly suggest they change their product description so people like myself don’t waste their money on a product that’s going to make them sick. I unfortunately ordered it before there were reviews disclaiming the fowl odor. However unlike others who have left reviews what I experienced was just a strong chemically perfume smell not something rotten or mildewy. I think it made a small difference in my hair but I’m not exactly sure. Make sure to actually read the directions, it clearly states to wash it out after a certain amount of time. It’s not a leave in product and the smell didn’t linger once washed out as far as I’m aware. I did triple shampoo to insure the smell was out. I was really excited to try more products from this company as I heard they offered a wide selection of unscented hair treatments. I truly hope this company does update their product descriptions as it has definitely discouraged me from trying any of their other products as I clearly cannot trust the information listed to be accurate.

Wow — my hair hasn’t felt this strong/good in years. It actually does what it claims, which feels like a miracle these days. Pro tip: condition after shampooing, even though the directions don’t say to — my hair definitely needed it.

It is a really good serum, works well as it improved the texture of my hair. The smell is bit weird but I reckon its due to the formula. Great value for money.

I bought this serum after many consideration and I am satisfied with the results. It does what it claims. My hair was very brittle and damaged. As a result my hair was not growing after a certain period and became thin. But after using this serum (2 times per week) my hair regain the volume. It looks healthy now. It has a thick consistency and smells very unpleasant but works like magic.

Very good product. Hairfall got reduced to 90% almost overnight. New hair started coming which is the best part.
