Great for hobbyists

This colour purple is beautiful, very dark when dry, almost black, so beware of using it as a base paint. Arrived very securely packaged so no concerns around crack in the bottle and no leaks from the lid.

500ml Amsterdam tubs are great value and the quality of the paint is a step above liquitex basics acrylic paint. The lid is better than Rowney system 500l bottle in my opinion but it's still awkward to shake and squeeze, it nearly always gets caught on the lid. That aside it's still my favorite mid range acrylic paint.

Great acrylic paint and a good price from this seller. Have seen it in art shops for up to twice the price. Keep the lid closed proper after use and paint will last for a very long time.

I follow a Canadian Artist who paints on YouTube every week. He recommends using Amsterdam paints, as they're not expensive and are a good quality true colour for mixing with other paints. He's absolutely right. I'm new to painting so I don't want to spend a fortune on paints. I use 6 colours, all Amsterdam, plus titanium white and mix all the colours I'll ever need from them.

Favorite. The listing needs to insert a decimal for the ounces. It should state 8.5 ounces. The way it reads currently one can assume you will receive 8 - 5 ounce tubes. The buyer will only receive 1 tube of 8.5 ounces (250mls).
