Good read
I took a chance on this book after seeing a Facebook advert and I'm glad I did. Well written with no bad language, it was a joy to read.

A good book.
Enjoyable quick and easy read. Nothing outstanding or revolutionary about the writing/characters/world but just good. Solid tropes from standard fantasy worlds. Looking forward to reading the next one.

Many twists and turns but entertaining.
The story is classic in that it contains all the usual types of character, dwarves, elves, humans etc, but is original in many ways. It certainly includes unexpected twists and turns, particularly the final chapters, which make one want to find out what will happen next.

Great Story
Good story telling with a lot happening in every chapter. Onto the next book now. Hopefully will be just as good

An MC without a shred of agency on a railroaded story makes for a tale that is far less engaging than it could be. Yes, it's in the name of prophecy or fate, but still, it makes for a rather passive ride. Add to that the fact that it takes almost the whole book for the title-giving wizard to appear. It's not a bad book. It just didn't manage to grip me, and the protagonists remain a bit pale because of their lack of agency and decision-making.

Wow. What a unique and captivating tale! The action and suspense had me hooked. I loved the humility of the main character and his growth story. It has an altruistic tone to the entire story and a constant suspense as to when the first wizard will appear. It kept me reading like rare other stories. I fully recommend you give this one a shot!

Beginning of the book meandered a bit but got on a good plot track pretty quickly after a good read overall

The book had you entertained throughout the story and kept you reading the book to the end to see what happens next in the series of books.
