NICREW Aquarium Internal Filter, Submersible Power Filter for Fish Tanks 40-66 Gallon, 264 GPH

Works great for my 5.5 Gallon tank, I actually modified it some in which then it works even better, inside the filter is a plastic basket that holds a small pouch of carbon, the basket has small holes, so I actually used the Fluval Zeo-Carb loose in there, it is big enough that nothing escapes! Works great! Then I trashed the little pre filter that comes with this, I felt it had large pores which let a lot through, and I got the Fluval Phosphate filters, and I cut them to size and put them as the pre filter, I think it makes it one of the most efficient filters I've ever had, and it SUPER QUITE I love that if I keep it just slightly above the water as it sprays from the long attachment it creates some bubbles, enough that my guppies are super happy, which is good because typically bubblers are very loud.

I’ve been using this small internal filter for a few weeks in my 5 gallons tank and it does a good job. It’s compact and easy to set up, and doesn’t take up too much space inside my aquarium. The flow is gentle enough for my fishes but still keeps the water moving and super clear. It runs pretty quietly too, which is a big plus, but it is not completely silent either. The only thing to note is that you’ll need to clean the sponge fairly often since it’s small, but that’s expected with a filter this size. Overall, it’s a reliable little filter for small tanks. Great value for money.

GREAT little filter! I have the 5-10 gallon unit in a 2.5 gallon tank. Because its acrylic (not glass) and there is no real stand for my setup, it seemed quite loud. I put some rubber pads under my aquarium and it deadened the noise significantly. That was strictly a problem with MY SETUP, not the pump! Water is clean and the fish are probably enjoying the jet of water in their tank, probably makes it feel like they're in an actual stream!

Works well but gets clogged every so often because I have a very natural tank. I use it for water movement and to disrupt algae and it works fine. I wish the flow was adjustable though

Small, but works well for small tanks. Used it outdoors all summer in a 15 gallon flower pot pond with crayfish, tadpoles, frogs, guppies, and mosquitofish (with electrical cord covered from elements) and it was perfect. Also had live plants for filtration. This would be perfect for indoor tanks up to 10 gallons for small fish.

BUY THIS! Whether you need a primary or secondary filter as an emergency backup or for use of different media --- BUY THIS! You've never seen such as beautiful, powerful, artistic water or air display for such as tiny and inexpensive filter. For a 10 gallon tank, buy the MAGI200, NOT the next size up. Amazing. DID I Say AMAZING!!!! Buy this as an additional filter for every tank you have. Use it with your other filter or was a backup. Yes --- IT IS AMAZING! This little pump does so many things. people don’t realize that until they’ve tried all the options that are in the package. Any negatives about this pump are because people don’t understand its use. Use it to create a waterfall in addition to filtering, use it to create aeration in addition to filtering, don’t put in filter media and just use it as a waterfall or aeration, use your own media, filter floss, nitrogen remover, whatever you want to do with this little pump, you can do it.

Bought for a 5 gallon hospital tank. Like the design, simple and easy to install & maintain. Stopped working after about a week. Customer service suggested I clean it. Wasn’t really dirty but it started working again after I reassembled it.

Bad product l. It worked for 12 hours and stopped completely. Unfortunately I could not return it as I passed the return window. Don’t buy it

Works fine. Quiet. A little too powerful for my 3 gallon tank but I was able to diffuse the output so our Betta can still enjoy his home.

I bought every adaptor I could find and still cannot plug it in properly. Very annoyed that it even needs an adapter in the first place. Basically unusable.

I bought this product, but when I used it for the first time, it didn't work. What a waste of money. I wish the seller would give me a replacement. 😢😢
