Beautiful classic pen
It was a gift for my husband and he liked it very much. Smooth writing. Slick. Not too big or thin. It arrived perfectly on time. Worth the value.

Compre esta pluma para regalar a mi padre, estuvo encantado, siempre le gustaron las plumas parker y este modelo era su favorito. Lo unico malo es que vino con un rayon minimo en el cuerpo del boligrafo pero es dificil de notarlo.

Pretty
This is a great-looking, functional pen. I took off a star only because I'm very "tactile", and don't care for the feel of the engraved top.

Value for the Money
I love Parker pens. I've been buying them since the 1965 New York Worlds Fare. Parker has always stood by me. Functional, doesn't break, and a great warranty from Parker. I used them in the field while in the U.S. Army.

Great
The boss loved it. The pen has a good heft, the ink is smooth, and the box is really nice.

The pen is great, but my box was missing documents
The pen is beautiful and comfortable in the hand, although a little thinner than I typically prefer. However, the box did not have the welcome booklet or warranty information in it. I’m guessing it was a return or something.

This is a luxuriously finished, well-balanced ball-point, using Parker's patented quarter-turn refills. It would make an outstanding gift, or a prestigious purchase. The writing will always be best-in-class for a ball-point— however, it will never be better than Parker's budget pens, because it is the same refill and uses the same system. Owning a Parker was the highlight of my early school days, though I never owned anything like this one. Finished in glisteningly patterned palladium for the top, and a modest (though sumptuous) milk-white for the barrel, this ought to be a prized possession for anyone who has one. At a particular price point, the writing quality does not get any better. Parker's refills are comparatively expensive—more expensive than many cheap retractables—but that is because they write about ten to twenty times as long, never leak (and ballpoint ink is very nasty when it does) and have a unique turning mechanism which means that every time you engage the pen, the refill gets a quarter turn, so the wear is even. At least, that's the theory. Playing with this pen, which is a twist action, I couldn't quite see whether it actually makes use of this quarter-turn technology, as this is a twist cap type of pen, rather than a clicking type. The feature is still very obviously present in the refill. All Parker ballpoints use the same refill type, so if you are merely after the Parker writing experience, you could go a lot cheaper. Either way, in forty years of using Parker ballpoints, on and off, I've never found one that let me down. This, of course, is designed and priced as a thing to own and take delight in, rather than just write with. To my mind, no ballpoint can ever compare with the class and character of a similar level of fountain pen, but few people now use fountain pens. If you want the sophistication (and glamour) of a fine pen, but need to stick to a ballpoint, or if you have a matching fountain pen, this is beautiful, albeit premium priced.
