UTILITY PATENT APPLICATION RECEIPTInstallation steps: Prepare the rods and connectors, and attach them as needed. However, when you hold both ends and bend them, these short rods will magically tighten and join together. Next, stick them into the soil. Install all hoops, then place the mulch over these hoops. Use the green clips to secure the mulch, and you'll have the green tunnel you desire. Review: Easy and works well - These worked great for covering our plants while allowing them to grow. We used clipped netting to it in order to allow sun and watering. Great value for your money. Review: This is the third order of these hoops - I first ordered the "L" size of these in Sept. 2022 as a test. These have worked out well, and have survived 2 winters of use. In the winter I use plastic clipped to the hoops to protect my cactus from rain and frost. in the summer I have shade cloth clipped to the hoops. They have survived wind and rain with no breakage. They did come apart at the ferrules in the wind, put it back together, no problems. To keep them from flopping around I drilled a piece of 1/4 x 1.5 inch lath in the appropriate places and threaded the piece for the top of the hoop through the holes. I have provided pictures to show you what I have done. The hoop is based on a 4 foot width, and takes 6 pieces to form the hoop. For a 10 to 12 foot row length this took me 4 hoops to be sturdy enough. This time I ordered the L PRO version. So far these look the same. Except these are a dark green color, and the clips that come with these is dark green as well. I am trying these on my larger vegetable garden. I will let you know how this works, and what I have done.

Well enough
Easy to operate! Easy to assemble the frame! However, the clips felt a bit too small, making it difficult to secure the netting to the poles. It required a lot of effort to force the clips down!

Did not stay connected.
Good concept but didn’t work well for my adaptation. I the poles kept falling apart at the connectors.

Sturdy and easy install
Thin fiberglass rods that are sturdy and easy to install. They did well in 3 days of rain and 20 mph wind. I used Agro Fabric over them.

Poles DO NOT stay connected
Listen to bad reviews- regrettably I didn’t. The intended use was to make arches over my blueberry bushes and add bird netting so that i might actually get a season. The silver “connectors” do not hold the poles. The inner diameter is too big for the poles, resulting in it being too loose. I tried to tap them into the little dimple in the middle.. and then they would just go through entirely. I tried pinching the tube with pliers to grip around the poles, but the pole would just slide out. Since I’ve destroyed some trying to make it work, I can’t return them, so next year I may put some caulk or glue in the tubes which will make them unable to separate for winter, but at least I can make use of them. For now, I’ve used them as 3-high poles stuck in the ground and zip tied bird netting… which mostly seems to work.

Buy something with better rust resisting connectors
Poles were ok, connectors rusted horribly and can't reuse.
