Easy to change plates quickly
No problem with these worked a treat on my caravan. I don't think they are designed to slide the plate out, you just pull the plate down against the spring and tilt the plate out. Certainly for a caravan the plate is often recessed into the body so it can't be slid left or right

Cheap and affective
Simple and very cost affective, I have bought multiple of these for my trailers, easy to fit with some self tappers and very handy when needing to quickly change plates when swapping vehicles
