I have a 2012 Chevy Avalanche and this was just what I needed for the repair. The shift linkage had come loose because the other grommet had broken and this Grommet worked perfect. I didn’t know it at the time, but I didn’t end up needing the U-shaped plastic piece so if you have the same truck as me, I would suggest buying another kit that just has the grommets.

You wake up and then your shifter just falls, I checked out what might be wrong and it was the bushing piece had broken, I searched Amazon for use with my type of vehicle and a friend replaced it, installation was easy and in less than five minutes back on the road!!!! DON'T DO IT!! Part has terrible fitment and will just slip right off the shifter linkage.

Works great! Replaced my 07 Cadillac Escalade bushing with this. At 1st it kept falling out upon installation. However, it's because I didn't have the bushing all the way into the little metal groove to avoid it slipping off. So please be sure to install it all the way correctly!! It should NOT come off if done correctly. Hope this helps someone.

My husband ordered these to fix the shifter on my car. They have worked so far with no issues.

It kept popping off until I realized there was a lip that the piece has to go over. Once you get it past that point, it stays on! It's been on for 3 weeks now!

2013 Chevy Cruze LT Fit perfectly and was easy to replace. My old one had the bushing completely disintegrate.
