The mixed blessing of having no zipper is something to consider: this vest fits snugly and is warm and comfy, and has no bulky or bumpy zipper to deal with. But it is very difficult to remove this vest without help or without fear of tearing the neoprene or your rotator cuff! You look cool while wearing it but not cool while trying to get it off.

Really surprised how much I like this vest.....it took a while to get a system down taking it off and putting it on without looking like a psych ward escapee! Almost called 911 first time i tried to take it off but couldn't even reach my phone. I am 5'11, 180 and Large fits perfectly...I longboard in Hawaii and stay in the water for 3-5 hours...I opted for a no Zip vest just to wear under a shirt for dawn patrol and windy days...this one is garansbobarans!

So, I got back into surfing and realized that I did not like my arms covered, so I looked into long-John wetsuits and settled here, with a tank-top for warm days. So, far this top does what I expected it to do. Keep in mind you will get flushed out, but when the water is 75-80 degrees it’s not the end of the world. I will say the reviews shared a common thread to order 1-2 sizes larger, to which I completely agree. For me this meant an xxl, but low and behold, it fit snugly and it’s easy to get on and off. Excellent value, construction. Keeps core warm in extreme conditions. (Ambient air temperature 10 degrees water temperature 38-42 degrees.). Wear hooded jacket overtop of product and then a hooded wading jacket. Lightweight pair of waders for cold water flyfishing, I am 6 foot tall and weigh 190 lbs. I bought size XXL fits perfectly. (Snug, but not restrictive for casting.) a little hard to get on/off. I wear capilene t-shirt underneath.

Mine works fine but has a strong odor, like a chemical smell masked by air freshener, that hasn't gone away even after using and rinsing. Strange, since the O'Neill long-sleeve wetsuit top I ordered the same day is odorless.

I followed the advice of other reviews and upsized from M to L. Fits spot on. FYI - I’m 5’-11” 165lbs. Fit and feel/quality are great 🤙

I returned this vest because it was too small. I am 5' 6" and 131 pounds, well within the "Small" category on the size chart. I had planned on getting a medium, the same size as the vest that I am replacing this one with, but I balked and went by the chart. Even the medium is pretty tight, but you do not want it loose as that defeats the ability of the vest to keep you warm. I bought this for the fall surf so I have not used it yet but I've had many O'Neill's in the past and I trust this one will be of good quality. The material is very supple and flexible so it should be easy to move in and comfortable. I will come back and update if I find it to be otherwise.

Hard to find product…ordered same size that I’m currently using,but it was very small sized. Returned article.
