This audio and microphone extension cable works GREAT for the Nintendo Switch. It lets me hear well and send my voice in games such as Fortnite. And I should be clear that I am NOT talking about using it for the Nintendo App, although I don't see why it wouldn't work there too. Here I am talking about plugin in this cable into the actual Nintendo Switch, and connecting my regular audio microphone headphones that work with the Nintendo Switch (be aware that not all headphones work with the Nintendo Switch, most of them you can hear but your voice does not goes through). So, definitely recommended for the Switch!

This is exactly what I needed. A long cord that can be bundled up. This extension cable comes with a velcro band that with hold any excess cable. Delivers good sound quality and is very affordable. A must have if you already have a good cable but need more length.

It works for a headset/microphone, but admittedly does not have the greatest shielding. If it's too close to my charger or other cords, I do receive some static. Regardless, I probably would have given this 5 stars, but the more you plug and unplug the cord the worse the connector seems to get. Occasionally it will not transmit microphone. A great temporary cord, but I have since ordered a replacement from my headset manufacturers website.

A little bit of a unique situation, but I have the MMX 300 headset which has a microphone plug and a headphones plug. The headphone plug goes into my USB FiiO amp but the microphone plug won't reach the back of my PC. That's where this cable comes into play. Perfect solution!

I wanted to take a shotgun mic and move it to a boom closer to my mouth when filming. I was able to use this with a Canon M50 & the Rode VideoPro mic, paired with a generic boom pole. There was no loss in sound quality recording and it saved me money so I didn't have to buy the Rode branded boom pack.

The casing of the 3.5 jack broke and now pops out every time I try to pull out. For a plug and forget solution this would be great. Absolute garbage microphone quality. Audio is fine though.

Very well-made cable my gaming setup is at least 10 feet away from my tower and had no issues with the quality of the sound and shipped really fast.

Solid cable, super long works and look well. Would buy again.

I used this one for Nintendo Switch, so my son can chat at Fortnite and be away from the TV screen. So far it works very good and I use only apple ear phone.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Gets my kid away from the tv and he can chat like normal with his friends when playing on his switch.

Good quality extension cable that works flawlessly with my son's gaming headphones.

This product works well, however the actual cable itself is not very flexible, so putting it away by coiling it up loosely is not that easy. The end caps that cover the soldered joints are also loose.
