RV Travel Trailer Entry Door Lock Polar Chrome Paddle Deadbolt

I used this to lock my rv and it's very sturdy and durable and took less than 5 mins from beginning to end to install

WORKED AS REPLACEMENT FOR SAME. ORIGINAL, DEAD BOLT SIEZED, KEY WOULDN’T ENTER CYLINDER. PERHAPS SPEAKS TO LONGEVITY ISSUE.

The plate on the latch was bent in shipping, probably not the sellers problem. It was easy to straighten with a hammer and anvil (drive way). Other than that I am completely satisfied with the lock. It fit exactly like the original and seams to be very high quality. I did used a little dry lube on it before I installed it. I used the lube in the locks also, after lubing the locks, the keys seemed to slide in and out easier. Have not been on a camping trip yet but everything seems to be as it should.

Installed on our cargo trailer. Works decent but the action isn’t as smooth as a higher quality latch. Overall it’s a good buy. The keys aren’t great but they work.

Since I was working on a vintage travel trailer I knew I was going to have to customize the door latch. This one was easy for me to adapt and adjust to my needs. Well made works great and looks good

2006 24" HAULMARK CAR TRAILER. EXCELLENT FIT AND PERFECT REPLACEMENT!

Installation was a breeze. Perfect install. However that are two issues; 1) The top keyhole can't be used as the little cover will not slide to allow the key in. 2) The lower lock bolt will not always work due to the bolt hitting the plate. I have to get a small screwdriver to move it laterally enough to lock. Unlocking is ok. I will try to file the plate down to allow smoother movement.

This is a rock solid door lock and handle for your RV or teardrop trailer. I made my own door and although it required some tricky cuts to install, the door latch did install easily and is very solid/rigid in the door, giving a very strong feeling of confidence when using it. Would definitely buy again for any other trailer I might need one for. Also the lock mechanism and handle work smoothly without any hitches or excessive slop.

easy to install looks and works great so far, its been in for about 2 weeks. Note there are no instructions ( that help ) you have to be mechanically minded to remove the old one, I went on you tube to get some help although they were not that helpful , but showed the general idea and then you can take it from there.
