It's only been a week that I have been using this and I am already having regrets.Why didnt I buy this earlier? This Robot Vacuum + Mop is super convenient.I recommended it to all my friends and cousins with photos.This robot, we named Wall-E, has easily been one of the best recent purchases. I have been eyeing this ever since my mother developed pain in her feet, post covid quarantine when house help was not allowed into her apartments.But even the dedicated househelp, do need their days off rest, as we all do.And that's when the Dreame D9 comes into it's comfort zone.Caution we need to first give it a day or two retries to map and mark the no go zone.PROS:- Excellent little 10cm helper that keeps running around once we have the cleaning schedule and areas defined.- The way it programs and a the mapping technology is amazing, once you have setup the app, it guides you through the process- Then the use is a breeze.- Good suction power.- Amazing battery life.- Very effective LIDAR performance.- has multi floor mapping feature to program different floors.- Especially you can set it to clean early morning or when very few people are around, so it can do the cleaning by itself.- You can send virtual walls to safeguard the little robot.Note:- But the first week you need to monitor to identify potential hazards.- One day it just went over the entrance into the corridor, so we need to identify potential no-go-zones.- You must frequently clean the vacuum box, and any hairs entangled in it's little legs (rollers)- Alternate days cleaning in my case as we have a daily house help too. But if you have pets that shed you may need to clean daily. Cleaning is easy as the cleaning brush it provided with the vacuum compartment.- You must wipe and keep the sensors and the charging points clean.Cons:- Easily gets scratched when it tries to go under chairs that are the exact height- Cannot climb or descent floors. but has multi-floor mapping tech upto 3 floors.- Amazon Alexa should have been enabled via the Alexa TV instead of a separate Alexa device. But yet worth it.Easily worth every rupee spent on it. Even after the maid cleans it can pick out dust if you set the vacuum twice option,

It worked well for 9 months without any problems, but a sudden failure of the left wheel has meant that I am left without a functioning robot vacuum, and their service center has been unable to repair it successfully for over a month now.

The media could not be loaded. My honest review after using this product for a month now. For me, it is meeting the expectation because my 3 bhk doesnt have uneven floor, up and down entrance for rooms. So it worked nicely and gets easily inside the rooms and complete 3 bhk cleaning and mopping with in 1 hour and 20% battery is enough. It’s good for us with two people because we always make sure that we are not throwing anything on the floor. We are not leaving stuff on floor but when it is a big family and everyone can’t be responsible to keep the floor clean with big throwing then ignore it. It can not stopped a need for domestic help because then you have to do all the dusting, door, electronics, furniture cleaning by yourself. Since the mop is not perfect, we need to do manual mop at least once in 10 days. Otherwise if we can do some of the work by ourselves like cleaning the big throwing from the floor or dusting then go for it. I mostly do it from the office . It is that easy. Cleaning is so good that it doesn’t leave any dust on floor. I bought it for 16500 during a sale time so for me I thought it is good even for a few occasion. I am loving it . After dinner, it is just a click when you command your robot to clean the kitchen floor and you are gonna love it. Regarding the tech part, it is very easy for anyone who knows how to connect wifi . That’s it. Regarding the cleaning of robot, it becomes nasty so I always use gloves and clean it once in two days and it is hardly a 5 mins job. So think about your need and then go for it

I have used the roborock s5 and Xiaomi mop 2 pro, and have been using vacuum robots since 2016 (imported the S5 from china). Dreame is another offshoot funded by xiaomi and understandably, lessons learnt from the earlier generation robots have been Incorporated in the dreame d9 max. Even when compared to the latest offering from Xiaomi, ie the mop 2 pro which boasts of ultrasonic vibration mop, the overall performance of dreame d9 max is better in sweeping and mopping and is marginally faster. At 4000 pa, it commands 1000 pa of additional suction power compared to mop 2 pro and comes second only to the deebot n10 in this price range. Navigation and mapping is quite good, however as there is no camera, obstacle avoidance is not great when it comes to small items like toys and cables. I haven’t faced any software or network issues so far, kudos to the Dreamehome app which works equally well on android and ios. Bought it for 19999 during the republic sale, making it an extremely value for money proposition.By the way packaging was damaged, though the contents seemed unaffected. See pics attached
