Good for dance music
I’ve had budget headphones for quite a while which were generally fine but I thought it’s high time I upgraded as I’ve been making more of an effort to listen to music recently after spending a few years not doing so as much. B&W are a brand I know fairly well and still have some speakers which are still superb after 20 odd years. That said a lot has changed with the digitisation of audio but I made the splash on these as I wanted something high quality that can pair with modern phones etc. They come nicely packaged in a smart box and the headphones themselves are simple but sleek. A god quality carry case is also included as well as some leads. I have a iPhone 11 and an iPad about 3 years old although will be upgrading former soon. The Bluetooth pairing happened with both in seconds and simple and trouble free. As a slightly out of date PC and Apple user I still have mainly old USB a/b and lightening cables but the headphones use USB-C. Not really a problem but I’m still in that changeover period where I don’t always have the right lead. You can use the headphones straight away without downloading anything extra but there is a B&W app available which gives you some extra controls which I’ll come to. As for control when it comes to using them from an iPhone you just play whatever you want whether it’s through an app or a webpage then it’ll come through Bluetooth to the PX7s. The sound quality is superb and as a dance music lover I require bass but all frequencies are important and they’re all clear. I have found that even modern budget headphones are so much better than say 20 years ago but there’s a clear jump in quality with these PX7s. The iPhone app does also allow you to adjust bass and treble if you want which is useful. As well as that it has settings for how much noise cancelling you want and it’s really noticeable. I’ve found myself more in the moment when wearing these headphones. I live where it’s quiet anyway but it seems more serene with them on with no music. The headphones have a few buttons on for controlling the music, all pretty simple really- just on/off/ Bluetooth, play/pause and volume up and down. They’re well laid out and simply to feel- I have had other headphones where it’s been confusing knowing what you’re pressing. Since receiving them I’ve only had to charge them once and apparently they can last 30 hours off one charge. Comfort wise they are superb, I’ve had them on for about 4 hours and barely notice they’re there. They don’t feel heavy or intrusive in any way. Overall I’m very impressed and I feel like these have made music a bit better for me again. I’ve spent far too long listening through lower quality methods like budget headphones and mini speakers.

Very Impressed by these phones
First of all this is a genuine review. I just got these earphones today and i was blown away by them. Im an older guy who is very fussy with sound and with my music. First thing i noticed opening the box was the quality. Holding the phones you can feel the quality in your hands right away. They are well made. The Phones connected right away to all my devices tv, pc, hifi, phone ect. No problems at all. The sound was better than i thought it would be. Good deep bass and crystal clear voices and instruments. Cod on PS5 is something else. Playing older music from my phone from 1973 (Genesis Selling England By The Pound) through Bluetooth was as good as i could want. It was excellent and that was just mp3. Now if i used the cable with the jack on my phone the sound would be even better again due to taking out the Bluetooth and using flac ect. I really dont find the need to use it wired. The sound from the bluetooth mps was loud and clear. The volume is more than enough. It was loud if wanted. If you put more volume than these provide your talking serious hearing damage to your ears, these are plenty loud. Now to any people who say the app is very basic with only bass and treble controls, thats because the makers understand sound and these are all you need to tweak, bass or treble to your liking and they do well. These silly equalizers that alter all different tones are not meant to be used at all, they alter the complete sound the way the album was meant to sound by the artist. Bass and treble tweaks are all thats needed to suite your player if its an old player ect or you prefer a little more bass ect, I feel theres no need to touch it at all. But the bass and treble adjustments do work if needed. The end line is, you wont be disappointed by these, they are a great set of quality phones.

Superb noise cancelling headphones providing an immersive sound experience
For some time I have been looking to upgrade my mid-range earbuds to high quality headphones and, amazingly, I was offered the opportunity to test these Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2e noise cancelling headphones. From the moment I opened the packaging and laid eyes on these sleek, high quality, luxurious headphones, I have been incredibly impressed. They were easy to set up using the App and the bluetooth connectivity is fantastic. I love the fact the headphones can be set to immediately connect to the last device used. I currently have mine set to connect to my iPad and my Android phone and it is super easy to switch between the two. Within the App you can adjust bass and treble. The App guides you through the button settings and they are really easy to navigate whilst wearing. The headphones sit very comfortably over the ears and do not slip on your head. I genuinely feel like a whole new world of music has been opened up to me because the layers of instruments and voice are crystal clear and I can't believe I have been missing out on this depth of sound all my life. There are two settings for noise cancellation which can be altered via the headphones or the App, which I am yet to challenge in a noisy environment but I have trialled at home and am very impressed. I would definitely recommend taking advantage of the free trial with the high quality streaming App, QoBuz, because it demonstrates even further the superior sound quality of the headphones. I am excited to discover more music with this superior sound.

Premium sound and comfort with solid noise cancelling
Really impressed with these headphones. Sound quality is rich and detailed, and they’re very comfortable to wear for long periods. Noise cancelling is good, battery life is excellent, and the Cloud Grey colour looks very clean and stylish. Not the cheapest, but you definitely get a premium experience so okay great value for money. Would recommend if sound quality is your top priority.

For £349 and for the heavenly experience I had with B&W P5, I'm super disappointed
This is my second pair of B&W. These headphones are huge (I realised that when I couldn't return them) - if you are petite like me, do not buy these, they fall off the head and if you wear them for too long they really seem to weigh a lot. Outer muffs are prone to scratch and the band once dirty, it's impossible to clean. Sound cracks sometimes, out of the blue, giving me mini heart attacks. The support person said to reinstall the software but that did not help at all. Other than that, the sound is fantastic, noise cancelling is superb, charging fast and battery is pretty good. Call sound is muffled though but clear enough to understand what it's being said.

A marvel of pristine sound quality
The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2e Noise Cancelling Wireless Over Ear Headphones are a true marvel of audio engineering. I had the privilege of receiving these headphones for testing purposes, and from the moment I put them on, I was immersed in a world of pristine sound quality and immersive audio experiences. These headphones offer a remarkable blend of cutting-edge technology and sophisticated design. The noise-canceling feature is nothing short of exceptional. It effortlessly blocks out external distractions, allowing me to enjoy my music in absolute serenity. The adaptive noise cancellation adjusts in real-time, ensuring that I get the best sound quality no matter where I am. The soundstage is spacious, with crystal-clear mids and highs and a powerful, yet controlled bass that adds depth to the music. Comfort is another standout feature. The plush ear cushions and lightweight design make them a pleasure to wear for extended periods. The battery life is impressive, lasting all day on a single charge, and the quick charge feature provides hours of playback with just a short charging time. The build quality is premium, with a sleek, minimalist design and high-quality materials. They feel robust and durable, ensuring they'll stand the test of time. The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2e headphones are not just an auditory delight but a statement of luxury and performance. If you're a discerning audiophile looking for top-notch wireless over-ear headphones, these should be at the top of your list.

Fantastic headphones with incredible sound
The B&W Px7 S2e headphones have beyond exceeded my expectations. I'm an open backed headphone person and previously eschewed closed back, noise-cancelling headphones due to the enclosed and claustrophobic feeling whilst wearing them, and also I require wired headphones to inter-operate with my stereo hi-fi system. However, I am about to re-enter higher education as a mature student and will be commuting on the train, and needed a pair of headphones that would not leak sound and disturb other passengers, nor have the music disturbed by the sounds of the engine and the track beneath us. I had heard good things about Bowers & Wilkins from a number of people whose appreciation of music I admire, and so quickly found the B&W Px7 S2e. These headphones have blown me away. Even in noise-cancelling mode, they do not feel claustrophobic. They're light, the build quality is exceptional and they seem extremely durable and well made, and they're extremely comfortable to wear. They have physical, easy-to-use buttons for manipulating the noise-cancelling and noise-passthrough capabilities of the device, volume, pausing/playing media and call handling, with all functions distributed between four buttons, three on one earpiece and a fourth on the other, for an intuitive, easy to remember system. I've been listening all night and they haven't required a recharge, although I have only owned them for one day so cannot say anything definitive, the battery life does indeed seem good. They charged quickly, and come with a USB-C charging cable that can be stored, when not in use, in a hidden compartment in the included hard-case. The earpieces are not large, indeed seem larger in the photographs than they do in real life, but comfortably cover my ears, and do not get hot and sweaty even after long periods of listening. But with the preamble out of the way, what do you really want to hear about? The Sound. And these headphones sound fantastic. The sound is stellar. Tonight I listened to 90s trance, 60s rock, and Paganini's piano and guitar works, and these headphones have a fantastic sound-stage, to the extent that I cannot believe they are closed-back and the noise-cancelling produces near silence. The sound-stage is not quite on par with open-backed headphones but is in no way cramped, the headphones are clear, there's no loss of clarity in any of the ranges of sound, and it is enjoyable to isolate particular instruments, melodies, or riffs of music with your ears as you listen. These headphones give an absolutely fantastic music listening experience, and for the price I paid (£200) they are beyond exceptional value, and really punch above their weight alongside headphones which are much, much more expensive. I have not tested the microphones and call quality, but I have watched some videos and some TV and film to test and the listening experience outside of music is also fantastic. Voices are clear, there is depth to sound-effects, and of course the music soundtracks are fantastic. All in all I would say these headphones perform their function in a first class manner.

These are the best!
Ok so I know people will throw names of hyper expensive headphones at me with the cry of you're wrong these are the best but I'll explain. Over the years I've had quite a few mid range headphones from Sony , Sennheiser etc which I have always thought were really good, great quality build, high performance sound reproduction etc but there was always something not quite right. The biggest problem with all headphones until now was getting my ears in the cup.I know what people will think "my god he most have big ears" and yes they are quite big but they are very long, which means my ear lobe would poke out the bottom, this is quite painful after a few hours!!! I have spent years trying to find some that I could afford and eventually these showed up with an amazing price drop so I purchased straight away. When they arrived I was quite shocked by how good the quality was, these were a hundred quid cheeper than the newest Sony and they are made of really good quality materials. The comfort is amazing, ear cups are an oblong shape so no worries on the space front and these are made of very comfortable memory foam (I think) so I can wear them for hours even with glasses. The performance is really good too, easy to set up with the app, Bluetooth picked up first time and has continued to pair without fail, sound quality is fantastic it has a soft feel but it can hit the bass heavy without loss of treble which is amazing. If you've managed to get this far I'll stop the Bowers and Wilkins fanboy stuff and finish by saying to these are the best headphones I've ever heard and at the price I got them it was a serious bargain, so just go and get some you won't be disappointed!!
