Aluminum Brazing Rod 1/16 For Propane Torch, Flux Core Aluminum Brazing Rods NO NEED Flux, Aluminum Repair Simple Solution 20 rods (13" Length)

I used a standard propane torch to braze the legs back onto a smokeless firepit that had broken from their spotwelds during shipping or at least some time before I received it. One end of three of the four legs had broken loose. While the propane heat caused burn marks on the unit, the welds were made secure and the feet now work well. The marks left by heating the body of the firepit were easily brushed out with 0000 steel wool. In retrospect, I could have prevented the heat discoloration by shielding the This product works very well for the use I intended. I recommend it for any use for which it was designed.

Doesn't work. Melts but wont stick when by the time it'll start to stick the base Metals melting said I dont need flux and thats the only thing I haven't tried yet to get it to work

I wish I could give a half star..... These, as predicted, are utter garbage. They do not melt even at almost 1000 degrees. I am testing a bunch of brazing rods for some upcoming projects and so far, these are the worst I've tested. They look like they just snipped off 14" sections of aluminum welding wire. Don't buy these.....
