Fantastic solid repair for the cracked soles on my Redback boots
Fantastic product - the air cushioned soles on my Redback boots had cracked and split all over the tread and they were destined for the bin. I did some research and came across this after trying Gorilla Glue which didnโt work - this has filled all the cracks and bonded really well. Hope it lasts!

Excellent sealant/ adhesive
This review is based on my own purchase and is an honest reflection of the product. I originally purchased the black Stormseal to repair a scuff to a cordura camera bag and wanted to prevent a hole forming. This worked well and the repair ended up outliving the rest of the bag. The Stormseal black or clear ( have both ) is a fast flowing liquid that is incredibly sticky and stringy. If it touches a surface while trying to apply to a desired area it will want to adhere to it and will be difficult to clean, so prep is key. I have found some rubbing alcohol and good cloth can clean up if done straight away, though may still leave a mark on the surface. I have found on fabrics and surfaces which have give in them the liquid once firms to a semi set state creates a waterproof rubber finish that can move to the contours of the fabric. The repair is strong and durable lasting in low impact areas 12+ months with little signs of wear. This is not a perfect product though and wonโt suit all uses. I recently tried to fill a hole in a vehicle floor using it as a rubber filler. Building up layers worked well and it filled the hole. However, where the edge touches the rigid vehicle plastic panel it does have difficult maintaining adherence. My only niggles with an otherwise excellent product would be the tube it comes in as this makes applying to surfaces often a difficult and messy task, and how shiny the finish is, this does make blending in to surfaces difficult.

Works pretty well
Very gooey and hard to handle. I used to fox seems around toe cap of my goretex walking boots as have started leaking in water. I managed to get a good seal by squirting around top of toe seem and used a rounded pen lid to smooth it off and embed into cracks of seem. It looked very shiny and plastic like at first, but once worn in the mud and water they now have a more natural look and hardly stand out as having had repairs. Water ingress has greatly improved to almost no leaks, but I'm still getting a little during a full day of wearing in wet conditions. But I think this is because I need to seal elsewhere also and trying to pinpoint. Boots need to be clean and dry before applying glue. The glue was totally dry a few hours after application buy I left them for a couple of days to be sure it adhered to boots completely.

Difficult to use
The application is very tricky with this if you need to use on something precise. I bought it to use around the edge of some boots and it certainly has sealed the cracks where the upper meets the foot bed, it is a very glossy finish and mixed with the uneven application it is obvious a home repair! Better used for outdoor repairs I would say rather than for shoe repairs.

Did the job
Had two small cracks / cuts in my canvas soft top. Beware this is very runny. I used a match stick to put enough on each repair and smooth them down. You also have to freeze it once open. I got it out of the freezer again to repair the rear screen where the rubber seemed to have crumbled. Not easy to apply, but I got a good bead and a wet knife smoothed it down we'll see how long it lasts.

This is legit amazing. My backpack now waterproof
This stuff is legit amazing. So I have a backpack which cost a lot of money and bought over 5 years ago but the zipper stiching / webbing had perished. Iโve been looking at how to fix it and even took it to a tailor who wouldnโt touch. Anyway.... why is this great: 1- the application set over night and is fully rainproof the next day. 2- it has give to it, not rigid so for my backpack itโs held up perfect over the past week. 3- I actually tried to pick it off to see how durable it is... unable to pick it off. This thing seems to be bonded for life! I would give it 9.5/10 dropping .5 as it is a bit fiddly, but itโs so worth the outcome. I had a small tube for a 10inch zipper hem. Iโve probably got enough for another 40 inches

Cures in the tube after using a small amount.
This tube after one use over 3 months has all cured in the tube. The usual scenario is the opening might need clearing. It was bought because of its small size. Its not tiger seal, it doesn't perform like Tiger seal and it shouldn't all cure in the tube after one use. If you're looking for a small amount of tiger seal (if you're familiar with that product, I dont use the quantity anymore to warrant buying just one for the gun) do your self a favour and buy a whole tub for your gun and avoid this if you're an infrequent user. Very disappointed

If you don't live in England don't buy it. There is an important tax the seller hasn't included in their price and it's a loooooot
