Q: These appear to only be "designed" in the u.s.a. so where are they actually made?

China. Heck everything is made there. But I purchd these last wk and im amazed at how well they're made! They aren't flimsy. Shocking for the price. Watch out for the pointed ones tho bc if you aren't holding it right, it will poke the gums and cause bleeding. I know firsthand! Ouch 😂 But I think you'll be pleased if you purch these dental tools. The case is very nice too. Wash them and wipe them with alcohol before you use.

Q: Do oral mirrors require FDA approval?

No. You can purchase an oral dental mirror at Walmart in the Oral Hygiene aisle

Q: I just received this set of dental tools, but I do not know which tool is which. They are not labeled. Can anyone tell me which is the scraper?

If you look at the picture. The tool next to the "tweezers" cotton pliers is what's called a sickle scaler. I find it to be a great universal tool for plaque and tarter removal. Make sure you hold it close to the end and use your teeth as a balancing point. Just so you don't stab yourself. 😉

Q: Do these come Sterile?

They do not. These are at home tools for personal use - what you see is what you get.
