Has ro add a outlet into the wall at ceiling level but all worked out great .just remember these lights are plug in so you need the outlet

Being a photographer/videographer, this light fits perfectly with my office decor.

My 4 inch round electrical boxes don't align with the outside of the drywall perfectly. You have to shim the mounting plate so it is at or slightly above the surface of your wall or the mounting studs won't go through the base of the lamp so you can secure with the end nuts.I used #8 washers between the box and mounting plate to accomplish this. Another way to address it is to get longer 10-32 (NOT 10-24!) screws to affix to the mounting plate so they have a longer reach. If you get extra long screws you can buy some matching nuts so the distance off of the mounting plate is adjustable.I've never seen perfectly aligned electrical boxes and this design clearly depends on it.There is a connector on the ends of the wires with some double-stick tape on it. I never saw such a thing. There are tiny screws in it for clamping down to the wires. So you can either remove it by unscrewing with a jeweler's screwdriver (appears to be torx but has a slot too) to release the screws or you can insert pigtail wires in and screw to clamp them in. I opted to remove the connector.The wires are stranded and tinned. If using wire nuts you would need to strip more back than they have done. I use Wago connectors which worked OK with the tinned ends.The neutral wire is actually white but may be hidden by a black sleeve over it. The wires are separated for only a short distance which you may need to increase if not using Wago connectors.

You guys this light is so pretty!!! I bought a plant holder to hang it from and literally just plugged the thing in then zip tied a loop in the cord so that it would hang from the hook (the cord is really long and so I needed to shorten it by making a loop in it). The light is also dimmable which I didn't realize until I got it, so bonus!!

We are very happy with our lights. We bought them for reading lights above our bed. They came up in a search for lights with individual on off switches, but when we received them we realized that they don’t have that and need to be wired to a wall switch. We liked them so much that we did a work around with smart light bulbs and an Alexa device. They work perfectly now!

Lamp itself appears good, and a good price (under $20.). However, as one of the photos shows, it is designed to go into the wall. There is no way to easily modify the lamp, such as running a cord on the surface of the wall (although you could drill a hole in the side of the lamp). Furthermore, the connection block (see other photo) is quite small. An electrician would likely have a small screwdriver to anchor the wires. I did have such tiny screwdriver, and tested the anchor screws. They worked OK. There is room inside the lamp base for a somewhat larger block, and it would make a more secure connection. I bought a similar lamp on Amazon for under $20 with a cord and plug -- much easier if you don't mind the cord or can hide it

Perfect little sconce for the price. Exactly what i needed for my indoor plants.

I bought 9 of these lamps altogether. Almost all needed some sort of alteration or correction. Wires not properly attached, or the colors swapped. Some had bent internal parts and some loose screws. As I said, they look nice but assembly is poor. Once you straighten any bent parts, realign things that are crooked, and ensure the wires are properly attached, you should be good to go. But a quality product doesn't need adjustments or inspection to ensure it's put together right.The company refunded the purchase price for three of the 9 I bought, asking I update my review accordingly. Well here's the update, but I won't alter the truth about the quality.
