I lead an active lifestyle, including exercising and playing sports. My biggest challenge is how to recover quickly and efficiently so that I can go back to training quickly. I have tried many things to help speed up recovery and I have heard of epsom salt from many people. I actually tried it once about two years ago, but I didn't feel much effect back then. Not sure why. Fast forward two years later, I decided to give it a try again because the level of training has gotten a lot more and I really needed to have the best products possible to help me heal quick. The package says to dissolve it in hot water and soak for at least 20 minutes, but what I found most effective was to add a little more than two cups of this to my cold plunge tub. It dissolves well in cold water. I immerse my whole body for 5 to 10 minutes each time and repeat this twice. I do this at least a few times a week. No matter how hard I train, my body will feel less pain the next day as long as I do soak in my cold plunge with epsom salt. If I don't have time or I get home late at night and can't do this routine, I'm very tired and sore the next day. The difference is obvious. I've also tried a cold plunge without epsom salt, but it was not as good. This experiment showed that epsom salt is very effective even in cold water. I'll keep adding it to my cold plunge every time I use it. By the way, this product is fragrance-free and additive-free, so it's gentle on the skin. It has never caused any skin problems or irritation. Since the items tend to be quite heavy, it's also helpful that they can be mailed to your home. I definitely recommend this service.

I love Dr. Teal's brand of epsom salts. They never disappoint! I usually buy the lavender ones, but I actually bought this unscented bag to make my own laundry detergent at home and I am very satisfied with it. It works hard to clean my laundry, smells pretty neutral so I can add my own scents, and was a great price. Would recommend for soaking in the tub or the laundry!
